Following a controversial loss to Condit atUFC 143, Diaz tested positive for "marijuana metabolites" all but confirming they will be no rematch with Condit, let alone if he will ever fight in the UFC again. Usually the penatly is a six month suspension but this is not Diaz first offense,
I dont think his UFC days are numbered but he will probably be out of action a while, bit of a shame really Diaz is his own worst enemy

He won't be let go. He is too much of a money fighter. Regardless of how much he pisses Dana off, Dana is a businessman and knows Diaz pretty much sells himself with this kind of ****.

Testing positive for an iilegal substance is bad for anybody, but in 6 months maybe longer, if Diaz wants to fight again I'm sure Dana will give him an opponent.

Considering the UFC has keep less marketable fighters for worse substance offenses (ie UFC on FX 3 main event) I highly doubt they cut Diaz if he feels like fighting in MMA.

Its the most obvious thing in the world Nicks a toker. It goes hand in hand with jiu jitsu, loosens you up and relaxes you and all that.
He doesn't deny it. He has a prescription for it in Cali(dunno why since he's healthy enough to fight but he does).

Lots of people who have prescriptions don't have anything physically wrong with them, a lot of it is mental, say like social anxiety....
