Main event could be killer, both dudes are great fighters but I think Edgar has proven to be the real deal. Akiyama vs Sheilds should be good but man, **** Kongo. Hope he gets knocked the **** out after his last fight.

Yoshihiro Akiyama vs. Jake Shields will almost certainly steal the show here. Especially since The Japanese crown will be twice as amped for one of their fellow countrymen and one of their biggest (living) pop culture icons (currently) so with the over the top electricity added in with the fact that these two guys are two of the most versatile, vigourous fighters in the UFC, I have to imagine it'll be awesome. Of course Edgar and Henderson will bring awesome energy and go balls to the wall. And then there's Bader against Rampage. Bader just knocked a guy out by barely punching him, and Rampage barely ounched his last opponent period... Bader's obviously riding his confidence into this fight and I wouldn't be surprised to see him win here. And in a way, I hope he does, cause he's one of my favorites, and then that'd also set up a Bader vs. Hendo fight which would be GREAT.

So looking forward to this. Akiyama and Shields are two of my fave fighters so I am really pumped for that. Also love the idea of Rampage/Bader as both men have big knockout power and well Edgar and Henderson is going to be sick. Pettis and Lauzon will also be good. But for me personally the fight what has me most intrigued has to be Hunt vs Kongo as I am expecting a big heavyweight brawl from both men. should be awesome.

So this is happening tonight and the whole card looks great. I think Edgar's time as champ is over with and its Bendo's time. But it weill be a tough fight and I see it going to decesion.

S'funny the paths Ben Henderson and Tony Pettis have been on since that last ever bout in WEC - by folks calcs after that ****ed up cage kick Tony would be cutting about draped in gold by now. But ever since Ben beat the absolute b'hey zeus out of Jim Miller, I have seen it as a given he'd get the belt soon enough...made all the more impressive by the fact its Frankie hes got to go through...hes that good. If Frank does somehow manage to beat him, the belt is his for the longterm. Outside of this, the Pettis Lauzon fight is the one Im most excited about...Lauzon aint going to be taking him down, so its on for potential out of this world stand up. Gonna be goood.

People tend to forget how close the fight between Henderson and Pettis really was. It was 48-47 on two of the judges cards. And the final round was close too. That's one of the things that makes the cage kick so amazing - it not only almost ended the fight but it very likely won him the round and the fight.

Wow did Frankie gets screwed or what? That scoring was wacked to say the least. Frankie definitely won round 3 and round 5, there should be no questions about that. The other three rounds were all close, but Frankie got Round 1 as well. Its crazy that one judge gave Bendo 4 rounds in that fight.

I also thought Edgar won the fight, even though his face looked like hell and Bendo looked like he didn't take any damage. I wonder if we will see Edgar get a rematch or if we will possibly see Bendo-Pettis II.

I wonder where Rampage goes from here as well. He didn't look motivated or in the greatest shape for this fight.
