Is the Rua/Machida decision the biggest screw job in mainstream MMA history
The poll is pretty self-explanatory. I would have to say yes since Rua dominated every aspect of the fight. It was a close fight yes, but even on paper Rua clearly won.

Machida successfully defending the UFC Light Heavyweight Championship with his face.
I'm not sure if it's the biggest ever in the MMA world, but it is definitely the biggest screwover that I have ever seen. Even Machida was shocked when the decision was announced.
I may be wrong but isn't this the first time in 3 champions that the title has actually be defended?

Worse then Hamill/Bisping because you could make a decent case for Bisping (although youd be wrong). You can't cut a win for Machida from that fight, especially the way Cecils and other judges scored it.

Comon guys, lets be fair here....the only reason I would say this was the worst screwjob ever, it's because it was for the Lightweight title and one of the highest profile fights of the year.

Do you have a reason not to give The Half Boy your vote for the Hall of Fame?

Yeah, we are being fair. Please name one if you can. Every other fight there is SOME sort of case for the winner, even the Bisping/Hamill fight(thought like Lemons said, you'd be wrong). There is no way Machida won. I was waiting for the metric to see if somehow Machida had better stats but he didn't. Rua won on and he even won it on paper. Threw more strikes, landed more strikes, controlled the octagon, was more aggressive, and took less damage(Machida's legs and ribs were shitfucked)... so yeah. How did Machida win again? Technique? I'd say Rua had better technique in that fight too.

Chase Beebe vs Mike Easton from the UWC just a couple of weeks ago. Chase was given the victory even tho he had clearly lost. The fight was later reviewed by the Athletic Commision and changed to a no contest.

One of the worst I decisions I can remember, but I'm sure there has been worse. I do, however, hesitate to call it a "screwjob", as that (to me) has the connotation of being an intentional thing where someone benefits. The only I can really see who benefited is Lyoto - getting to keep belt but at the cost of his legitimacy as a champion. Can't see it being a gambling thing either, as I'm pretty sure Machida was the favorite.
