No one is tip toeing around it. Vitor is a much bigger story and you care more than than the rest 'cause your british and like Daley. Kampman beat himself by trying to trade with a superior striker. All he had to do was keep taking Daley to the ground where Daley is weak and work for a submission or some gnp. However, he got drawn into striking and lost, early stoppage but he would of gotten knocked out most likely anyway.

I had no problem with the stoppage in that fight. Kampmann was done and it was obvious. Allowing it to continue until he was "knocked down" would have been unnecessary and dangerous.
It was a nice win for Daley, but its hard not to focus on Vitor. Belfort is a guy who's had some impressive wins of late, and taking down a former champion is a big moment. Franklin left MW, to my mind, because he was clearly the #2 MW and he couldn't beat the top guy.
The problem with getting overly hyped about Daley's win is that Kampmann was only a contender because GSP has cleared out the division of contenders. Good fighter, but he's hardly proven to be elite at WW yet. I like Daley, but he's awfully one-dimensional. I remember him looking pretty awful against Shields.

Just finished watching UFC 103 and I must say that it was a very entertaining PPV and yet I am disappointed...2 of my faves got destroyed.
CroCop got completely dominated and I can sincerely now say...HE IS DONE!!!!!!!
His leg kicks are a joke now and his striking is average at best. He still has power, but he looks slow and old. Inside of me I kinda knew that Dos Santos was gonna win, but not like that. I was still hoping CroCop was gonna pull it off, but at worst, he was gonna make it a fight. Time for him to retire and save whats left of his legacy.
Franklin was the other disappointment...never in a million years I thought that Belfort was gonna finish him in the first round, but thats just what happened. At least something good came out of that, now Anderson Silva has someone he can fight. Spider vs Phenom FTW!!!!!!!!!
