With Brock Lesnar making a very successful jump from the ring to the cage and with Lashley not far behind, which other wrestling superstar could make it in MMA in your opinion?
Awesome Kong could be one imo...she is tough and athletic and with some training, she could be successful. The Woman division is very thin in MMA.
Bret Hart before his stroke could have made it. He was an amazing wrestler and tough as nail and he might have been one of the toughest guys in the lockeroom back in the days.
Kurt Angle is an obvious choice. He is an Olympic Medalist and one of the best wrestlers on the planet. Now, I know his body is gone through hell and he is getting old, but if we could turn the clock 5 or 6 years, he could have definitely made an impact in MMA.

Do you have a reason not to give The Half Boy your vote for the Hall of Fame?
Kurt Angle would have been great IMO .. He is an Olympic Gold Medalist in wrestling and he is very explosive!! With the size of him we could have seen him at 205 LHW.
I think when he was younger Bill Goldberg could have been good in MMA ... Obviously he would have had to train as hard as Brock Lesnar but he is physically gifted and is also very explosive.
Alot of wrestlers say Scott Norton was one tough S.O.B .. He was a arm wrestling champion and I'm sure he was also a bodyguard in his earlier days.
I think he would have been good in the early UFC days with the street fighters like Tank Abbott.
Some wrestlers have not done so great people like Bam Bam Bigelow and Sean O'haire didn't quite make the grade.

I'm surprise nobody even mention The Undertaker... especially since he has good striking and ground game. He also got good cardio and he's not the type to give up easily.

The Undertaker would get murdered. He doesn't have the background, the strenght or any skill to compete in mma.
Just because he performs (well, attempts to performs is more like it) a mma submission move, it doesnt mean his ground game is good.

The reason Lesnar is so good is his background and his size it's really that simple.
Like Bret Hart would get murdered he didn't do college wrestling no bjj training, no boxing or kickboxing or muay thai. Yea a great pro wrestler but mma fighter...no it takes years to train to get these skills which is why a lot of fighters coming into mma already have a background in some form of mixed martial art like stated above.
It has nothing to do with toughness or strength otherwise these o-linemen who try their hand at mma would be having greater success.

First of all, he was Brock Lesnar's team and roommate in college. So, there's one angle for you. But plus... his record was great.
I could very well see him becoming a GSP-like fighter. I mean, think about it. GSP is a fantastic wrestler, but why is he better than all the other wrestlers in the sport whose background in Amateur Wrestling is far superior to GSP's? It's simply because of GSP's athleticism, and athleticism is one thing Shelton Benjamin definitely processes. Plus, with a lot of work, I'm sure Shelton could develop a great striking game as well.

Hmm, how about Elijah Burke? He's got the skill and he definitely has the toughness. Didn't JBL always brag about how he won a shitload of toughman competitions?

Bret Hart is a great wrestler and a very strong guy. Also, very smart and I could see him learning quickly, stuff like takedowns and submissions and ground and pound, 'cause he already has the background.
Another guy that would be interesting watching inside that cage would be The Big Show. Huge, strong and can do some boxing as well.
