Bobby Lashley the new HW Superstar

Well, Lashley beat Sapp pretty easily a couple of days ago, so where does he go from here?

Is he ready for the UFC? I think he is just as good as Brock Lesnar to be honest. His wrestling is amazing, and he is strong as hell. The UFC could market him to be the next big thing, just as they did with Lesnar. A match with Brock down the road would make them alot of cash.

A while ago, I actually had this feeling he was gonna hook up with Trump and fight for Affliction. Maybe they could make him Fedor's new opponent if Fedor defeats the Babyface Assassin at Affliction Trilogy.

Or maybe he should join the Ultimate Fighter and do it the hard way just like Kimbo Slice is doing...that would get alot of ratings for sure.

To call him a superstar is pretty premature, he's showed early promise though, obviously, but you can't really judge seeing as he's been fighting cans. I see him having two or three more fights before Dana comes knocking, which he almost certainly will sooner or later.

Only thing about Lashley at the minute is we dont know how good he really is at striking, The guy shoots ASAP and GnP's his opponents ...

How good is his chin?

I think he needs to step up his competition before the UFC start knocking on his door, He should fight someone like Brett Rodgers, Paul Buentello,Jeff Monson who would all test him..

All 3 of those guys would kill him right now, he needs a lower key fight.

Yeah its gonna be a big step up I know but Buentello struggles against Wrestlers so it would be interesting to see if Lashley could avoid damage and get him to the ground ... If he gets him to the ground would he be able to keep him there.

Brett Rogers has got some heavy hands and just got a Massive win over Arlovski but hes never really been tested ... He knocked Arlovski out in 22 secs and Arlovski has always had a questionable chin.
The MMA world knows who Rogers is now so i think it would be a good move.

Jeff Monson probably would beat Lashley at this stage in his career, plus they train at the same camp so that was probably a bad call on my part..
