I've always wondered why the UFC doesnt have a weekly show just like WWE. It doesnt have to be 2/3 hours and it doesnt have to feature big stars, but rather they should have unknown guys or fighters like Joe Lauzon or Mac Danzing there.
It would be a great way to build up stars and a great way to showcase younger talent. I'm pretty sure people would watch it. This show would also be a great way to promote PPV's and UFC as a whole.
What do you guys think?

They wouldn't have enough fighter's to keep it going.
If a fighter gets knocked out he is automatically suspended for 3 months by the athletic commission.

Well, finding the fighters is not a problem, there are thousands of fighters out there.
They wouldnt have to fight each other all the time, get different people for every show.
Also, a 1 hour show would only have 3 matches and the UFC can handle that even without scavenging for tons of new talent.
I just think it would interfere far too much with PPV fights. Most people only fight once every three months. They wouldn't want to take time our of their schedules to fight on tv.
