I just think it would interfere far too much with PPV fights. Most people only fight once every three months. They wouldn't want to take time our of their schedules to fight on tv.
These people would still fight every 3 months and I bet you they would love a chance to get on TV.

Do you have a reason not to give The Half Boy your vote for the Hall of Fame?

You really think they would want to interrupt their training for a PPV to fight someone on free tv?
I don't.
About the only way this would work is with very low card fighters who never get any big PPV fights.

Well, I asked this question cause rumours have it, if they sign with a big tv station (nbc is the rumoured station) they are going to get a weekly show.

Well, finding the fighters is not a problem, there are thousands of fighters out there.
They wouldnt have to fight each other all the time, get different people for every show.
Also, a 1 hour show would only have 3 matches and the UFC can handle that even without scavenging for tons of new talent.
But do you really think Dana would want to contract random ass fighters to fight every week? It would be a waste of money and time for the UFC. People like to have a connection with fighters, in some way shape or form. Usually on a card, there is at least ONE person I want to see, which is what keeps me watching. If it turned into a whole bunch of random people I could see on a shit promotion down in Alabama, I wouldn't want to tune in. It would work for a short while, but would do nothing in the long run.
Well, maybe they dont even have to get unknown guys. Get guys like Mac Danzing or Joe Lauzon or any of the other Ultimate Fighter guys who didnt make it far on the show. They have enough guys already to do a weekly show like that. Three or Four fights a week is all that is needed.

Umm... Joe Lauzon is a rising star worthy of PPV fights and already main evented a Fight Night. 'And Danzig won TUF...
