I have faith that Sylvia will rise from the dead and de-throne Fedor.
Are you kidding me? I know this is an old post, and I apologize, but are you kidding me? I can see why you were banned. Fedor beat Sylvia in 36 seconds. You're a freaking idiot.

There'll be no sorrow there, no more burdens to bear,
No more sickness, no more pain, no more parting over there;
And forever I will be with the One who died for me,
What a day, glorious day that will be.
Maia vs Marquardt: Really disappointed with this fight, I really wanted to see Maia work his BJJ magic against Nate. As soon as the fight started, I heard Joe/Mike say that Maia had worked on his stand-up...as soon as they said that, I thought to myself "I hope he doesn't decide to stand with Nate"...and as soon as I thought that, he threw the most retarded kick and got KO'd lol.
Vera vsKrzysztof: Vera was just to good for Krzysztof and I'm actually surprised this fight went to a decision. At one point, Vera was considered a top Heavyweight and one of the most talented fighters in the UFC. At 205 he should be dominating, but for whatever reason, it's not quite happening. He did win, but the reality is, he should be finishing guys like Krzysztof.
Thiago Silva vs Jardine: Keith Jardine sucks imo and there was no way he was going to pull off the upset against the Brazilian. Jardine has a very weak chin and Silva is one of the hardest hitters in the sport today. Not surprised at all this one ended the way it did.
Couture vs Nogueira: This fight went the distance and by right, this one should have gone 5 rounds. One of the best fights I've seen, especially the 1st round. Nogueira was on his game and it looked like the Minotauro of old, great performance by him. Couture at one point was on top of him, but Nogueira sweeps him and mounts him...just impressive to see.
Nogueira's striking was crisp, his combos were fast and on the ground he was his usual self. There is no doubt in my mind now, that the only reason Mir beat him, its because Nogueira was really, really, really SICK.
Couture looked great as well in this fight, but Big Nog was just better, plain and simple. I hope Randy doesnt retire because of this loss, he has nothing to be ashamed of. Most fighters would have lost to Big Nog on Saturday.
They say that Couture can not be submitted and at UFC 102, we saw why...the guy has more heart than anyone on the planet. Big Nog had a DEEP choke and yet Couture survived, just incredible.
Whats next for these guys now? For Noguira there are 3 scenarios imo:
1 - He faces the winner of Brock and Carwin, I think alot of people want to see that.
2 - Faces the winner of the Cro Cop/Dos Santos fight, with the winner getting a Title shot.
3 - Faces Mir again so he can avenge his loss to him.
As far as Couture, I actually would love to see him fight Anderson Silva. It would be a dream fight for me and Im pretty sure Couture would be more than a match for the Spider.

Do you have a reason not to give The Half Boy your vote for the Hall of Fame?
MMAWeekly has obtained fighter salary information from the Oregon State Athletic Commission for UFC 102 featuring Randy Couture vs. Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira, which took place on Saturday, August 29, at the Rose Garden in Portland, Ore.
The following figures are based on the fighter salary information that promoters are required by law to submit to the state athletic commissions, including the winners' bonuses.
Although mixed martial arts fighters do not have collective bargaining or a union, the fighters' salaries are still public record, just as with every other major sport in the United States. Any undisclosed bonuses that a promoter also pays its fighters, but does not disclose to the athletic commissions (specifically, pay-per-view bonuses, fight of the night bonuses, etc.), are not included in the figures below.
In the listings below, "Main Event Fighters" are defined as fighters who compete in the main event of a show. "Main Card Fighters" are defined as fighters whose fights appear on the main card, but not in the main event. "Preliminary Card Fighters" are defined as fighters whose matches take place before the live broadcast goes on the air, regardless of whether or not those matches end up airing on the TV or Internet broadcast.

Krzysztof is very good, he was overwhelmed by Vera but he is no can he's a team quest fighter and he was never considered that great at heavyweight his only good win was against a shitty Mir, people were always saying he was too small for heavyweight.
And I wouldn't say Jardine has a shit chin did you see the Rampage fight he took some shots and Rampage is the hardest hitter at 205.
And where do you get that Silva is a hard hitter...his ground and pound against Houston or Mendes...

lawl Are you saying he isn't a hard hitter? Maybe all his knock out wins and his most recent knock out against Jardine whose chin you just defended bro.

Machida successfully defending the UFC Light Heavyweight Championship with his face.
He knocked Jardine down but he was fine it was the hit after that when he fell down and hit him in the face honestly that would have knocked anyone a clean flush like that from standing to the ground.
