Re: UFC 100 Discussion (Includes Results)
Lesnar's awesome trash talk was it more or less disrespectful than Hendo's flying hammerfist, which was awesome too, when he knew Bisping was out cold?
the guy's are in the octagon with adrenaline pumping sometimes it's hard to control their emotions especially when they're getting booed to feck by the whole crowd. It's understandable if admitedly wrong.
Okay, at least you dropped your pathetic WWE-biased argument. Show me a video where someone gets in the face and starts talking shit in mainstream MMA when an opponent is just getting helped off of the canvas. I really don't you can show me one and I doubt you have seen "enough" fights where that has happened. Either way that's completely disrespectful and who cares if Mir trash talked before the fight? Lesnar WON, that IS the I told you so, and there is nothing wrong with Lesnar saying it but in the manner he did it was barbaric. He will obviously try and work on it, that's expected, but he has a long way to go and lost a bit of his fan base I'm sure. My brother was routing for Lesnar the whole time but completely turned on him when he saw his after-fight bullshit.
looks like a discussion with you is not possible.(for me) the only thing i said about WWE is that Brock does like a WWE-rant after his match, Brock has reasons to talk shit now, and now it's the time for Mir to shut up. I'm sure Mir would'n have respected Brock if he had won the fight. maybe not in such a barbaric way, but in talking crap the next hours/days.
and i see him in the next days still give some disrespectful comments. but from Mir you will apreciate it and it's no problem. From Brock it will be disrespectful. you think he lost some of his fan-base, i'm sure it will not change the slightest bit. Controversy creates cash... the haters (like you) will just hate him more. and i looked to the fight again and he got boo'd from the start, and even more after the fight and then he reacted towards the crowd, then when he got next to Joe Rogan they boo'd him some more. alltough it was wrong, he had his reason to react towards them and getting rid of his frustration... but if you then look at the reaction from the crowd when he was going to the backstage, i don't see any haters...
and for me have to going to search a vid for you and doubting i have seen enough fights. i'm 28years old, i follow all kinds of fightsports for years. i think i have seen enough fights to know something about it. my only problem (next to my health) is that my english grammar is'n that good to explain myself, but you saying when the match is over, the bad blood is over...i just don't agree on that. and if you look at UFC99. Marcus Davis also refused to shake hands with Dan Hardy, he turned his back to him on 2 occasions. but i'm not gonna bother to search some vids for you, if you tell me it never happens, fine by me
I'm really wanting him to move up in class and face Anderson Silva
He's just completely dominating the Welterweight division and I don't forsee anyone with the ability to take the belt off him just yet

Wow completely missed it, how sad as I was watching the whole thing. To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 20 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.
Yeah, St. Pierre has decimated the WW division pretty effectively. Neither Swick nor Kampmann are enticing challengers - much like Cote wasn't for Silva - but its what they have.
As for GSP fighting Anderson Silva, I still think its a bad idea. Yeah, its a super-fight that will sell. But its a fight that GSP is very very likely to lose. It would be an interesting fight because they are both elite fighters with few weaknesses. In that kind of situation, what can make the difference is simply size. GSP is a pretty big WW, but Silva is a very big MW. Which means St. Pierre is going to be going into that fight outsized. I just don't see the upside for GSP.

So they aren't going to hold out for Hughes? He might face Jon Fitch I believe. I think Kampmann/Swick vs. GSP maybe be too early for the victor for that match.
GSP winning with a pulled groin = awesome.
