Starting with UFC 80 back on January 19, 2008, the Ultimate Fighting Championship struck a deal with international sports broadcaster Setanta Sports to bring the UFC to millions of homes in the United Kingdom.
Setanta operates in Great Britain, Ireland, Luxembourg, the United States, Canada and Australia and provides premium sports television channels on a subscription basis, including a multi-year deal with Zuffa.
Unfortunately the dissolution of some of its English Premier League rights left Setanta strapped for cash and on the prowl for some emergency funding. A complete and utter collapse in operations — which would effectively blackout any and all UFC programming in the UK, had been reported as inevitable.
In response, Setanta recently released a statement regarding their current state of affairs.

With Setanta’s future seemingly on the brink, the possibility existed that Saturday’s UFC 99 event from Cologne, Germany, would not be broadcast to Setanta subscribers, effectively defeating the purpose of Zuffa’s Europe expansion.
Well that's good news... but only temperary good news.
Re: Dana White confident UFC 99 will be on television
I had heard nothing about this and I have Setanta. Awesome. I have Bravo and Virgin to so that's all the outlets the UFC have/are providing programming to, and it's in todays TV guide that this is still on Setanta, so fingers crossed I won't have to go channel surfing.
