The UFC's next UK show will definitely take place in Manchester, Fighters Only Magazine has learned from a well-placed source.
The city, which hosted UFC 70 in 2007, boasts a 17,500 seat venue in the form of the Manchester Evening News Arena.
No fights have yet been officially scheduled for the card but Manchester's close proximity to the city of Liverpool means that the Wolfslair gym is likely to be well represented on the card.
Terry Etim and his Kaobon gym are also situated in Liverpool, which is just thirty miles from the Manchester Evening News Arena that will host the event.
Other UK stars likely to feature at the Manchester show include Paul Taylor and Dan Hardy, who hail from the midlands.
UFC 70 was the event that saw Mirko 'CroCop' Filipovic being knocked out by a Gabriel Gonzaga head kick in a shock upset.
Filipovic returns to the UFC this weekend for a fight with Mostpaha Al-Turk at UFC 99, which is the organisation's first venture to mainland Europe
w00t a live UFC show at a decent time for us... that is if we still have live UFC when this comes around.
Setanta ftL.

I have no friends that are into MMA like I am I would have no one to go with.
me neither, but if you ask around i'm sure you would find some people who would join you. if it's not in real life friends it could be 'friends' from the internet... now, if i wanted i could have gone to Germany (4hours away) or i could go to Manchester. i'm sure i would find some people to join me. but i have some health/medical problems that make it difficult for me. if it's not from that i would directly buy my ticket(s). if i can give you some advice. go buy you're tickets, go visit that show. don't be shy or scared or whatever. this are 'special' things, things you never forget and you will never regret, if suddenly something happens in your life (like me) you will regret it that you stayed at home. enjoy it while you can.
