..And besides Dan Henderson, not one of those men are the fighters that they once were. Plus they never "took a vacation' from the fight game like Trigg. He is stepping back into the octagon after years away, in arguably the toughest division in the UFC.
Also, all those guys mentioned are champions, while Trigg has never accomplished anything inside the octagon. He wasnt great in his prime and he's not great now Im assuming. Koshcheck will eat him for breakfast.

Do you have a reason not to give The Half Boy your vote for the Hall of Fame?
Okay. Everyone really needs to stop over hyping Kos. If this fight happens, yes I think he will win but not in the dominated fashion people are referring too. I see either Kos by decision or Kos by RNC.

Machida successfully defending the UFC Light Heavyweight Championship with his face.
No doubt he is a good fighter and improving a lot. 'But all he does nowadays is try and stand with everyone and this fight is no different, especially since he's facing a wrestler. I see him just out pointing Trigg in the stand up for three rounds unless he lands a nice shot. Hopefully he doesn't come into this fight looking for that big right the whole time like he did against Thiago.

Yeah but that is thing, because he is improving so much on his feet he isn't just trying to stand with people, he is succeeding and as long as he doesn't get stupid as you said then he is fine.

Who is over hyping Koscheck? Thus far the only argument Ive seen presented for a Trigg loss is that he has been out of the top level fight game for a few years now. His conditioning probably isnt where it should be and in no way is Danny Babcock, who had rumors of a serious infection around the fight time, anywhere near enough of a challenge to get back into condition. Plus Koscheck has improved greatly on his feet. All around I give Koscheck the edge, I think he will be one step ahead of Trigg in the fight and I can see Trigg being caught going for a take down... That or a decision.
Well I wouldn't call it overhyping on my part either but I also need to factor in that I haven't actually seen Trigg fight since his UFC days, he has had some pretty impressive wins, sure against only a few nameable fighters in one of my favourite fighters, Mayhem, Deewes and Vitale but that is still 3 pretty impressive wins since he left the UFC. He has no shame in losing to Lawler because that guy is a monster and the same goes for Condit.
