Barnett can't beat Fedor fighting they way he did against Yvel. Personally I think Barnett is only still relevant because he has yet to be beaten by Fedor (and he has done a good job of avoiding the fight).

I don't know Barnett or anything, but judging by the amount of time he has spent ducking this fight, he has already lost. I'm guessing he is going into the fight thinking "God damnit, I REALLY don't want to do this." When you have that attitude against anyone, especially Fedor, you are going to most likely lose, which I think will be the case here. Barnett will beat Barnett.
Yeah, he has come out and said he doesn't want to fight Fedor.
That's ducking imo.
I disagree. Fedor hasn't seemed so eager to face Barnett either due to their friendship. Its likely a big part of the reason they never faced each other in Pride.
Its not like they are the only ones. Wanderlei Silva would never fight Mauricio Rua because they're friends and train together. Anderson Silva has said he has no desire to ever fight Lyoto Machida for the same reason.
Yeah, but for what it's worth, all of those others have a lot of choices, they don't have to fight each other. Fedor has run out of notable opponents, Barnett knows he has been the last guy that really should be facing Fedor.
I've never heard a lot of evidence behind the fact that they are friends. I mean they've never trained together like Barnett did with Monson who he had no problem fighting. And he has turned down fights with Fedor previously stating not enough time to train and still fought on the same card (One of the Shockwave events).

I dunno, both guys talking about being friends is pretty good evidence to me. They've both mentioned it in interviews. I'm not about to call them liars...
I'm not either, but I just find it fishy that Barnett will fight a guy he has called his good friend and trained with, but happened to be lesser competition for him.
