What Style of MMA Would You Like to Learn the Most?
I was discussing this with some friends, everyone had different answers, so I thought I would ask it here. If you could choose one style to learn, what would it be? For me it would be BJJ. It just seems like such an awesome style, and you can use it for a lot of things. I'm interested to hear from Dmac, since I know he has had training in MMA, maybe some of you have also, I just don't know about it, lol.
Re: What Style of MMA Would You Like to Learn the Most?
I help train the wrestling aspect @ a local MMA school, but BJJ is the most fun to learn IMO. Muay Thai is fun too, but getting hit in the shins is no joke! I'd rather get punched in the face full force that to get my kicks checked shin-to-shin.

My brother has been training in BJJ for a few months now. From what he has told me I would choose that if I just had to choose just one style.

Re: What Style of MMA Would You Like to Learn the Most?
I used to do Jeet Kune Do, which is the martial art created by Bruce Lee and what many (including Dana White) see as the earliest version of mixed-martial-arts. He took what he saw as useful from many different styles that he had practiced and taught it to his students, without all the stuff he felt was un-needed. It was a hell of a lot of fun, but it's not something that's really used in MMA today to the extent of Mauy Thai, BJJ, wrestling or boxing.
As everyone else has said though, BJJ is a very important aspect of MMA and looks like fun to do, so that. To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 20 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.
