A lightweight bout has been added to UFC 100 in July as Oklahoma native Matt Grice will fight Shannon Gugerty. The fight between Grice and Gugerty will likely end up on the untelevised Preliminary card.

Matt Grice last fought at UFN 17 in February, where he suffered a very controversial loss to Matt Veach. Prior to Grice’s UFN 17 fight in February, he had taken more than a year off from the sport to attend a police academy. Meanwhile, Gugerty suffered a submission loss to Spencer Fisher in his last fight at UFC 90.

The extravaganza known as UFC 100 takes place in Las Vegas, NV on July 11th and it features two main events as Georges St. Pierre defends his welterweight belt against number one contender Thiago Alves, and Frank Mir and Brock Lesnar will fight in a heavyweight title unification match.
The co-mainevents look epic, I cannot wait

Pretty solid card if true. There is also talk of bringing back some legends to fight, so I'm looking forward to that. I'm not really excited for Bisping/Henderson, but hopefully TUF gets me hyped, which it usually does. Lesnar/Mir will be pretty epic, can't wait for that. Isn't GSP rumored to be getting suspended for the grease incident or no?
