Do you have a reason not to give The Half Boy your vote for the Hall of Fame?
I watched that fight against Faber and Brown looked good in that fight. I guess he is the real deal.
I gotta get me that Versus channel... To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 20 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.
I think more than a few people who saw that fight but hadn't heard much of Brown before wrote it off as a "lucky shot". The guy is pretty good, though. Looking forward to a Brown-Faber rematch which looks likely.
The downside is that it sounds like WEC will be going to PPV in the near future.

Isn't that a good thing? I would have watched it if it was on PPV.
How much is it for the Versus Network? Did the Fight Network show this as well?

There's been a couple WEC shows that have been worth paying money to see. I'm hoping its less than the $40 standard, though, as they don't really have the name value to get a ton of buys.
I don't know that its a good thing in a basis sense. I mean, the WEC is owned by Zuffa and I'm pretty sure Zuffa isn't hurt for money, even with the economy the way it is.
I'm not sure. We don't get Versus here in Canada. Pretty sure the Fight Network didn't carry it. TSN has been showing the WEC's up here, but they didn't show this on Sunday because of curling (grrrrr). I think they will show it at a later date.

They showed this today on TSN, but I only ended up catching the Main Event. Matt Brown caught Garcia with a nice right hook early in the first and after some ground and pound, it was done. This looked like a replay of his fight with Faber. Brown is for real and his knock out power is scary...that's 2 great fighters in a row is caught now.
