Source MMAScoops.com Bobby Lashley will square of against fellow former professional wrestler Ken Shamrock at Roy Jones Jr.'s mixed boxing and MMA event "March Badness." Ken Shamrock is coming off of his first win in five years, which saw him armbar Ross Clifton on February 13. Lashley won his first MMA bout in December in just 41 seconds, and has not fought since then.
March Badness is scheduled for March 21 at the Pensacola Civic Center in Pensacola, Florida. The card will be broadcast live on pay-per-view. The main event is a boxing bout featuring Roy Jones Jr. as he takes on Omar Sheika in a light-heavyweight bout. Other MMA fighters expected for the card are Seth Petruzelli, Doug Marshall, and a heavyweight fight between Jeff Monson and Roy Nelson.

Bobby Lashley’s manager, Greg Bloom, confirmed the Ken Shamrock fight with MMAScoops.com earlier today. “We signed this afternoon.” Bloom told MMAScoops.com
The bout will only be Lashley’s second career MMA bout after making the transition from the world of professional wrestling. In his debut bout in December of 2008, he needed only 41 seconds to dispose of Joshua Franklin via TKO.
“Bobby is looking forward to showcasing his skills against an opponent with the experience and legendary status of Ken Shamrock.” Bloom, who is also the head of the new sports management company Shambala Sports, told MMAScoops.com. “This is going to show the fans that Bobby Lashley is a serious threat to everyone in the heavyweight division.”
Shamrock, who is nearing the end of his long MMA career is just 1-5 is his last 6 fights but the one victory came most recently when he arm barred nearly 400lbs Ross Clifton on February 13th.
Although not the same fighter he was in years past, Shamrock who just turned 45, holds the skills to see where a newcomer like Lashley stands. It may not be a pretty fight but it should definitely be entertaining.
Could be a good fight tbh

Lashley is going to destroy Shamrock. Shamrock is past his prime and from what I've seen and hear Lashley is a beast. The only way Shamrock can win is through experience.

Yeah, but Mir isn't ancient. Shamrock on the other hand is getting up there in age and he has been beaten by a lot of guys as of late. I'm not saying Shamrock has no chance, but I would definitely put the advantage in Lashley's corner.

Yeah, I think Boby Lashley is definitely gonna have a few pounds on Shamrock.
This fight interests me cause I think Bobby could become another Brock. Shamrock on the other hand shouldn't even be fighting anymore, but his name is still of value. If they actually end up fighting, alot of people will want to watch it.
