UFC 100 definitely should be a special show. Not treated like just another PPV.

Although it would be awesome to see all the titles defended, I don't think it's exactly feasible. In the long run it doesn't make sense from a business standpoint because fighters need recovery time and it would be a bit of a layoff before a title would be defended again.

A line-up I could see for UFC 100...

Brock Lesnar VS. Frank Mir
Anderson Silva VS. Thales Leites
Liddell VS. Wandy II
Randy Couture VS. Mark Coleman
Matt Hughes VS. Matt Serra

That's a pretty solid fight card that I think would sell pretty damn well with just two title fights. I would have put GSP/Alves or BJ/KenFlo on this, but each fight should be saved for its own PPV. This line-up features Liddell, Couture, and Hughes who were pretty much living legends during MMA's boom period following TUF 1.

That would be a solid card, but what I dislike about the UFC show, is that they dont have too many fights on their cards. For this show they should have way more fights. It should be a four hour show like Wrestlemania.

I was watching the UFC 94 preshow on Sportsnet and they showed an interview with Dana White. In this they asked him about UFC 100 and he said that they are definitely looking to go all out for this show.

Randy Couture on the card would be nice, but rather not against Mark Coleman. if you see how Coleman was gassing already in first round against Shogun. Randy would have end Coleman directly in the first round. i think you can promote Coleman one more time, he sure will have the will to fight another time, but i'm almost sure he does'n have it anymore in him to deliver a great performance, if Randy Couture would have the same cardio like he had against Brock, he would end Mark in the first round. and i'm not anti-Coleman, i just think he better stops before he kills his own legacy.

Re: UFC 100

UFC 100 is probably in July, so I would hope they don't wait that long to have the Mir-Lesnar fight.

Good point actually, the next heavyweight fight would be in it's place.

Am I the only one that wouldn't want to see Liddell/Wandy II? It's not needed, Wandy just needs to drop down to 185 or he's just gonna be forced into retirement by the bigger 205's now

I would definitely watch Liddell-Wanderlei II. It would be a fun fight. But I have agree its probably not the best idea. Wanderlei would likely be best suited to moving down to 185. He is undersized for the UFC 205 weight class, and he just doesn't have the chin to take that beating anymore. He used to get rocked and recover in a hurry, but he's just not the same fighter anymore.

Re: UFC 100

Well what's wrong with fighting Liddell just for 100 and then moving down?

That makes more sense.
