This show looks great and I actually think the interference in the main sounds pretty cool, though a bit over the top. Danielson enforcing it is pretty lul. I have no doubt that Tyler's winning the title now and as Jim said, things are getting very exciting now.

Number Nine sir, I'm just curious as to who you are to pass judgement on the match, or the people complaining about it for that matter, when you haven't seen it.
I was in attendance, and from my point of view, it was highly overbooked.
Match started with a good 10 minutes of out-of ring action, which included Black diving off the barricade onto Nigel, who was in the crowd.
After a good amount of wrestling, they did the tease that Nigel was taking his belt and leaving, but Dragon stopped him.
Later, Black "hurt his back", and was being carried to the back, but found the spirit to keep going.
Fast forward 15 minutes or so, and Jacobs and Aries show up. Jerry Lynn shows up and piledrivers Nigel. I was fine with those three, but then Briscoe comes out, and then the American Wolves..then Strong,Stevens, and Albright..and then Dragon. Ended up being a huge brawl with dives, that spilled into the crowd. Danielson did his big leap, and they all brawled through the crowd and to the back. They made an announcement the title match was still going.
The match continues, tons of near falls. Black pretty much has Nigel beat, and they ring the bell, saying it's a time limit draw. Keep in mind they announced the match as having a 60 minute time limit, and I believe it had only gone 45 around this time.
The crowd was chanting 5 more minutes, as that usually happens after draws. Black gets on the mic and begs Cary for 5 more minutes. Nigel gets on the mic and says that Cary, Black, and the fans can all kiss his ass..and he leaves.
Everyone was kind of waiting for something, and then Black's music just hit and that was it.
So you sir, who haven't seen the match, can judge from a limited set of results, and I can judge from seeing it happen right in front of me. Once you see the match itself, that'll be a whole other story.

From all accounts I've read Aries's new gimmick sounds like a bomb. He's gone from intense possible title contender to Joey Ryans 70's porn star gimmick with no natural progression.

Personally I think the main event sounds horribly cluterfuck. One or two run-ins and restarts a la Dragon vs Homicide would have been fine. A 30 minute draw is a great result and I want to see both Nigel/Black matches as I suspect they will have far more Black offence in them than their previous encounters.

Aries pretty much confirmed everything about ROH having "B-Shows" now, which is a tricky thing to get round. On the one hand, I think you need B-Shows to make the others look good and to help build the storylines, such as last nights show. But ROH have made it 6 years by consistantly putting out A-Grade shows every weekend, and you just have to look at the fan reactions to see their fanbase isn't appreciating the decline in quality, and it's hard to blame them.

On the one hand there is some real good story progression here and I honestly think Aries, Black, Dragon, Jimmy and Lynn are all possible to take the belt off Nigel, but at the same time there's nothing here that really sounds like a quality match and the criticsm of the "new ROH" are only going to get louder.

So apparently there's a big controversy over the 60 minute time limit draw not actually being 60 minutes. I think it'd be quite cool if Nigel, knowing that Tyler could likely beat him for the title, forced Guiseppe the timekeeper to ring the bell if it ever looked like he could lose.

Turn this big mistake into an angle and make the fans more hungry for Tyler to win.

It would work, but Giuseppe is a douche who just tries to get himself over, so I'd hate to see him involved in an angle.
But yeah, it works.

As said before, the main event sounds like a cluster fuck but Nigel's reign is still fresh as hell. The Aries match coming up, Tyler finally proving that if it is just him and Nigel, he can beat him, and Lynn coming up from the ashes to get his possible title shot. I don't think any of them will win it though or at least hoping they don't.

Why not? At this point, Aries, Tyler and Lynn are probably the most likely and best choices to be champ.

Though I'd definitely pick Tyler over the other two.

I'm just hoping Nigel gets the surprise defeat like Joe got with Aries. Someone he doesn't see coming but just annihilates him. Ether that or him finally bully Strong on being Captain Choke-a-lot in big matches leading up to one final epic encounter between the two.

I get what you're saying, but especially after the 17/1 show, it seems like at this point the fans won't accept anyone other than Tyler as the champ. It may be predictable, but I'd think any other face would be a dissapointment compared to him.

Don't see how Nigel's reign is still fresh as heel when the last , like, four defences I;ve seen from him have been the exact same match with different opponents.
