Good for Cole he's getting better matchups though I wish he could win one or two of them. Should be good regardless.

Sounds like a mismatch to me.
With the current buildup, Cole shouldn't be able to hang any more than 5-8 minutes with Elgin. While Elgin was booked as the unstoppable monster, Cole has so far been treated like the minor talent in the Future Shock team who holds back O'Reilly from better things.

And he's significantly better than KO'R

Spoiler:
How many Edwards vs. Strong matches can a company run? The main event would interest me if Richards gave a crap about storytelling anymore. BJ being back makes me happy though.

Cole and Eddie are far more sympathetic at this point than Team MMAsturbation. Even the most diehard ROH fans realise that they're coming off as douchebags in the last few months. I'm certain they're the ones turning, especially when Kyle is spouting lines like "Hey, Davey. Maybe we can be the new American Wolves."
That and Richards tweeter posts with Steen. Richards a better heel than this crappy face he somehow molded into. Hopefully he'll start using psychology instead of just spamming ankle locks now.

Totally agree that Cole is indeed better than O'Reilly, or maybe I'm just bored from the Edwards/Strong/Richards/O'Reilly style of wrestling by now. However, he wasn't booked in ROH that way. The thing is that I hoped for a move of Elgin towards the title picture to see something different there. His strength spots are just awesome (though you have to keep in mind that he usually wrestles very light wrestlers where he shows those - as you could see at Final Battle with Perkins or in that squash with the 2 OVW guys). And Cole is not really booked as someone that means enough to make him more credible as a possible contender.
At the moment, I would prefer to see a combination of Richards, Steen, Perkins and Elgin at the top of the card. Each have an individual style, so their matches would be a lot more entertaining than the same old triangle we are all bored to see. Meanwhile, Strong and Edwards could maybe bring some meaning back to the TV title. Maybe it's just me, but Lethal is not a guy I want to see with a ROH belt.

To be fair, Elgin has wrestled and manhandled guys like Corino, lifting and catching them quite easily. TJP also testified that Elgin is legit one of the strongest guys he knows, in proportion to Elgin's size.
