This is the official thread for discussing the new ROH TV show, syndicated by the Sinclair Broadcast Group. Please no spoilers, unless it's something everybody already knows, like KOW being gone.
I'll be very interested in seeing how they handle the Kings of Wrestling being gone (I am still pissed at this being their last match) after the very first episode. No HD is a dissapointment. I wish Joe Koff or someone said this earlier. Also, there's no guarantee how soon after the broadcast they'll be putting this online. Joe Koff was pretty sneaky in answering his questions to Bryan Alvarez this week, which makes me worry about how good Sinclair is going to be for ROH. I don't get a good vibe off that guy.
Ring Of Honor Makes Its Sinclair Debut This Saturday!
Ring of Honor makes its return to television starting this Saturday, September 24th on Sinclair Broadcasting stations around the country! From Baltimore, MD to Minneapolis, MN to Las Vegas, NV, the absolute best professional wrestling in the world today will be available via your television screen.
How do we kick off this historic event in ROH history? By presenting something to the fans that has been forgotten elsewhere, something that Ring of Honor does better than anyone else: tag team wrestling! First the team of Adam Cole & Kyle O’Reilly, together known as Future Shock, take on The Bravado Brothers (Lancelot & Harlem) in a continuation of a rivalry that has raged on for months. Then, in the main event, the ROH World Tag Team Titles will be defended as the champions, Wrestling’s Greatest Tag Team (Charlie Haas & Shelton Benjamin), take on the challengers, the men they defeated to claim the titles, Chris Hero & Claudio Castagnoli, collectively known as The Kings of Wrestling! See what Haas & Benjamin had to say on the eve of ROH’s broadcast TV debut:
Saturday marks the dawning of a brand new era for Ring of Honor, its fans, and all those who have supported us for nearly 10 years. Check out the list (Looking for Ring of Honor on SBG Networks?) of SBG networks around the country to see if ROH will air in your markets, and keep an eye on ROHWrestling.com for more details on how you will be able to catch all the action on your home computer.
