I'm guessing he'll be a face once 2010 begins. The thing that's stopping them right now is Eddie Edwards and the tag titles. That's quite a predicament that I hadn't noticed before. On one hand, you could stretch the turn out for as long you can by having the Wolves retain at Final Battle to solidify them as THE team, having never beaten the Briscoes before. Then they could go on to feud with the Bucks, who they've been building up and drop to them before Davey turns. Unfortunately, it's not gonna help the "ROH doesn't strike while the iron is hot" problem.

On the other hand, make things easier and have The Briscoes go over and that thought makes me sick. The Wolves never go over them and The Briscoes continue to be put over as ROH's top team, despite being VERY stale and they only seem to take themselves out the title picture when Mark is injured.

Is there another option I'm missing? Because I hope there is.

Go with option C) Have another team pull out the upset win for the belts. DCFC or Young Bucks perhaps? It'd be a way to entice the Young Bucks to stick around ROH as opposed to DGUSA. Seems pretty unlikely though.

At this point, The Wolves dropping it to Briscoes is pretty muc a given. The Wolves have beat every other team outside of the Briscoes, The Black Muffers, & DCFC. The Black Muffers aren't really taking bitches out or doing anything but being Aries' henchmen. DCFC haven't been booked in awhile so....yeah. Unless ROH start booking the Cutlers or some other tag team that starts tearing shit up then the Briscoes probably are going to take it.

A feud between Wolves & DCFC could probably rule hard as well. I would love to see Davey fight with one of them.......be pretty nice if you ask me. I'm not to negative the Briscoes getting the titles as well but I really do kinda want to see Davey finally fucking beat the Briscoes in a big match.

BTW don't anyone mention the Tokyo summit tag match with Shima because I just consider that match retarded & meaningless.

Wolves need to lose the belts and Briscoes are wayyyyyy better brawlers than them when they aren't doing one of their "10,000 chairshots and no selling" matches.

ROH already have a pretty diverse tag scene right now, they just need to push the Bucks and DCFC harder than they've been doing. They've already got a mini-rivalry of sorts between those two which can be carried into the titles easily and who doesn't want some Briscoes/DCFC action?

I dunno about anyone else, but I'd like to see Davey and Eddie get into some sort of argument about Davey's singles success. Maybe even run an angle where he postpones a couple title defences to have a big singles match, leading Eddie to feel neglected. Then when the Bucks or DCFC (or Briscoes, but I'd rather not) get the upset win over the Wolves, Eddie could turn on Davey afterwards, thinking Davey lost on purpose to get rid of him.

I hope that's not a far-fetched idea, but sounded cool in my head.

Well I wouldn't mind it but everyone knows the curse has to happen. Aries turned on Shelly, Strong turns on Aries, Davey turns on Strong, and Edwards turns on Richards. Before all that happens though I would like to see a all out war between Sweet & Sour the American Heroes & Aries & The Black Muffers. I'm really digging Aries reign as it seems as if everyone(heel or face) can gun after him and I can't wait to see how Aries does against Hero.

I'm not really into it just because of how predictable it would be. My ideal booking would be that they just go their separate ways. Edwards stays heel, but they have a certain amount of respect for each other. Something like Edwards keeping Hagadorn from putting a target on Davey's back. We could still get some Hero/Davey matches, but hold off on the Edwards/Davey one. Keep them apart long enough, by time they may have to fight each other, an Edwards turn would be even better.
