Young Bucks vs. Ryo Saito & Genki Horiguchi was especially good. When they announced that as the main event I wasn't suspecting them to outshine or compare to Davey Richards vs. Shingo or even Bryan Danielson vs. Doi. But the match was very well paced and both teams did a good job at keeping this ridiculously fast pace up at the end. First match I've seen of the Young Bucks and beside looking like Matt and Jeff Hardy in the 80s, they're good.
Davey Richards vs. Shingo this was probably my favorite match. Both of them hit each other so hard and were so quick. I've been on a big Davey Richards high as of late. He just comes off as so intense, it could just be the roid rage but the guy is really been amazing in the ring as of late. The ending could of been a bit better, but it was good on how they built up the match.
Brian Kendrick vs. CIMA was amazingly fast. Haven't seen any Kendrick since his departure from the WWE. But this match was good. I mean, the only negative thing about it was it was way too fast. I mean, the pace was amazingly quick but so was the match itself. I've never seen CIMA before and I was highly impressed. Both men were just like lightning in the match. My only complaint is it didn't last very long. Would've liked to see it play out a little more.
Danielson vs. Doi was pretty amazing. The stiffness of some of the shots were just classic. That was a good pairing. It went pretty long but it was never drawl. It kept you watching and I loved that about it. Glad this was one of Danielson's last performances in the indies. Great match.
Mike Quackenbush & Jigsaw vs. YAMATO & Gran Akuma was good but it seemed a little sloppy. The CHIKARA guys all held good with each other but I'm guessing YAMATO wasn't use to working with them because when he was added in things got a little sloppy. Good match though.
Dragon Kid vs. Masato Yoshino decent start to the pay-per-view. Dragon Kid always reminds me of Rey Mysterio, but they did a good job. Started off the show with a good match, wasn't anything amazing or anything that will be remembered but it wasn't boring either. Good showing by both these men, garners my interest in them in the future of the promotion.

Apparently Kendrick/CIMA was clipped for time, which is what you get when you try to fit 6 dream matches into 2 hours and leave room for promos and stuff.
I'm sure the full version will be on the DVD. Hopefully this show comes online soon.

Basically my thoughts.
I give credit to Jigsaw to working through that match with his injury.

Yeah, I just read that. No wonder why it was extremely short.
It did just surface online, I'm downloading it right now.

Today was the first day I could get it.. and I'm watching it now. I really enjoy Kid and Yoshino is always fun. Who is commentating with Lenny Leonard?
Edit: Whoa, Kid is only like 150 pounds? I knew he was small but jesus.

After watching this show, I'm actually pretty dissapointed. I've done a complete 180 on DGUSA. I just don't think I can get into it with so much no-selling and overkill. These guys need to relax, why have finisher kickouts in your opener and why not a bit of a break between matches? Aren't things like Davey kicking Dragon important enough to keep in, if they removed CIMA/Kendrick, I think that would've been enough time.
Doi/Dragon was the best match, but Doi forgetting the very painful-looking armwork only hurt it. Dragon did so many gruesome things to his arm that Doi made seem like it genuinely hurt, only to shrug it off in his comeback and only remember to sell when Dragon targeted it later on. Davey/Shingo had so much unnecessary shit in it, I just couldn't believe. I cannot mark out for Davey doing his crowd dive when he BARELY TOUCHES Shingo and just goes straight into the floor, MAYBE landing on a couple chairs. That is just too scary and not needed. I think they kicked out of way too much stuff. I mean seriously, Shingo's finisher off the second rope isn't enough to put Davey away? Too unbelievable for me. False finishes are one thing, but it just got ridiculous after the 10th time.
I was actually surprised by how much I enjoyed Bucks/Real Hazard. I would probably put that as the second best. The Bucks seem to wrestle better in DGUSA, though I was quite annoyed when Buck A made the hot tag to Buck B and only needed like a 10-second breather before recovering and going straight to doubleteams.
Definitely not as enjoyable to me as Enter The Dragon was, so I won't be getting the DVD this time.
