Unforgiving

It’s been a long time since Davey Richards and Roderick Strong have stepped into the ring opposite one another in a singles match, since “The French Connection” on November 7, 2008 as a matter of fact. They’ve been on opposite sides of multi-man matches, tag title matches, even a Steel Cage Warfare match, but it has been nearly a year since these former allies battled one another.
Nearly one year to the day since their last head-to-head encounter, Richards and Strong will go to battle once more, this time as part of the “ROH on HDNet” TV Tapings on November 6th. These two former partners in the No Remorse Corps know each other very well, or at least they used to. In the time since they were allied, both men have gone through various degrees of change.
Richards has fought hard to become, and remain, one half of the ROH World Tag Champions with American Wolves stablemate Eddie Edwards. Strong has fought hard to reestablish himself as a top contender to the ROH World Title. Both men have had the label of “2009 MVP” thrown in their direction by the ROH faithful, and there is certainly a case to be made for each fighter. Both have competed in some of the hardest fought matches of 2009; most recently with Strong’s phenomenal showing in “Survival of the Fittest 2009” and Richards’ epic battle with Kenny Omega in Collinsville. Their tag battle against one another at “Violent Tendencies” was certainly one of the most brutal bouts of the year thus far, and may only serve as a prelude to the punishment these two warriors will inflict on each other on November 6th.
If the stars become aligned in the right way for either man, we could be looking at the future of the Ring of Honor World Championship. Both men are certainly capable, and both men are eying that glory. A win in either direction will add to the incredible steam both men have had in 2009, but could a loss derail that momentum?
Tickets are on sale right now for both Thursday the 5th and Friday the 6th right here at To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 20 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. . Strong vs. Richards, 11/6/09, Philadelphia, don’t miss out!

KENTA’s Final November Matches
Tuesday, October 20, 2009
By Holden McNeil
Since his ROH debut at “Final Battle 2005”, KENTA has faced the best Ring of Honor has to offer. The names of his opponents read like a “who’s who” in Ring of Honor: Low Ki, Bryan Danielson, Samoa Joe, Nigel McGuinness, Austin Aries, Roderick Strong, Tyler Black, Davey Richards, and more. He has defended the GHC Jr. Heavyweight Championship here, and challenged for both the ROH World and ROH World Tag Team Titles. In nearly four years since he first set foot in the ROH ring, KENTA has competed in some of the most legendary matches in company history and it is with this in mind that ROH and Pro Wrestling NOAH officials set out to give the fans two matches they had never seen before.
First on November 13th, when Ring of Honor returns to suburban Detroit in Novi, MI at the Rock Financial Place, KENTA will go head-to-head with one of 2009’s breakout talents, Kenny Omega. Coming off of a tremendous win in Collinsville over Davey Richards, Omega is climbing the ranks and in hot pursuit of Austin Aries and his shot at the ROH World Title. A win over the great KENTA would be just the thing to solidify Omega’s position at the top of the card.
Then on November 14th when ROH comes to Mississauga, ON for the very first time, KENTA will also have to deal with another first time opponent in the wildly popular El Generico. These two men have been partners in the past (at “Steel City Clash” and Episode 17 of ROH on HDNet), but this will be the first time they have gone one-on-one. With the path of El Generico and Kevin Steen uncertain, a victory here would be just the thing to get the former ROH World Tag Team Champion back on track.
ROH and NOAH Officials are excited about the possibilities stemming from these two matches. Can either man make their name against on e of the very best in the wrestling world? Be there to find out! Tickets are available here at ROHWrestling.com for both of these events on November 13th & 14th so don’t miss out as KENTA closes out his November tour with two first time matches!!!
Looking forward to all of his matches coming up.

Great announcements. I cannot wait for Kenny Omega to really break out in the match of his life against KENTA, someone who really helps propel careers.
