Main Show:
-Jerry Lynn retains the ROH World Title by beating Chris Hero after a Cradle Piledriver.
-The Embassy beat Colt Cabana, Brent Albright, and Erick Stevens when Claudio low blowed Stevens and pinned him.
- Bryan Danielson beat Sonjay Dutt and Eddie Edwards when Edwards tapped in to the Triangle Choke.
-Intermission. Attendance: 500-600. Return Date: 9.25. Bobby Cruise tie is Blue.
-Kevin Steen beat Davey Richards with a Package Piledriver off the apron through a table. Othe spots include Davey being pushed off a ladder through 2 stacked tables and suplex's on to piles of chairs.
-Some guy proposed to his girl in the ring. She said Yes! Bobby Dempsey comes down and hugs them both.
-Jay Briscoe and Necro Butcher went to a No Contest when the Embassy attacked. Necro fought them off.
-Kenny King and Rhett Titus beat The Super Smash Bros with a double team powerbomb
-Delirious beat Ricky Reyes with a Panic Attack and Shadows Over Hell
PreShow:
-Grizzly Redwood beat Ernie Osiris. Post match, Jimmy Rave attacked Redwood. Necro made the save.
-Max Bauer beat ???
-Bobby Dempsey and Alex Payne beat ???
Doesn't sound like much of a show to me, apart from Steen/Davey which sounds like awesomness. Lol at the guy proposing at an ROH show.
Steen: "Davey? Davey, will you marry me? Wait. You're a bitch and I hate you!"

Looks to be a rather skipable show. Outside of the main event and seeing the Super Smash Brothers, nothing else interests me. Hopefully tomorrow is better.

When did Steen/Davey become a No DQ match? Either way it sounds good. Please don't add Necro or Jay to the Embassy fued, and I'm kinda dissapointed at Stevens taking the fall in the tag. Not sure why they had Dragon go over Eddie instead of Dutt, but eh atleast it makes sense I guess. B-Show fo sho.
Two reasons, I guess. Make Dragon/Steen look more of a threat by beating both Wolves in one night. Then don't have Dutt take the fall so it makes him look a tiny bit more likely to go over Hero.
Davey/Steen became Anything Goes because I think they wanted to make this show as good as they could, with all the injuries and Quack pulling out.

Do we really need so many fuckin' no contests? I don't mind if they do one once in awhile to further a feud without hurting anyone, but doing one at practically every show is overkill. This is ROH we're talking about. The company that was built around actually giving us winners and not the BS Sports Entertainment booking.

After watching all the 2002 ROH I can safely say I am sick and fucking tired of "we aren't sports entertainment!!!" crap. >_>
I agree the booking is pretty drab, I don't mind the non-finish, it's just the repetitiveness of it all. Pretty much every show of 2008 had SnS doin the same shit with non-finishes and now it's just the exact same thing but with the Embassy. Also not too happy about the match times being reduced significantly, the ROH style really needs lengther matches. Steen/Davey sounds real good from the live reports (went about 18 minutes) and the main seems to be getting a fair amount of praise too (went 25 minutes) so I may check that out too. Everything else sounds really passable.

I like the idea and execution of being not sports entertainment, but they didn't need to remind us every five minutes. Those early shows does have terrible commentary.
