View Poll Results: What role did the Rock play the best heel
Although most likely for being remembered as a top babyface...The Rock has also been known to have some epic heel runs. In your opinion which role did he thrive in the most...as far as being a bad guy.
Nation Of Domination
After recieving a repeative amout of boos as a babyface...Rocky Mavia joined the Nation Of Domination. He instanly became a star...and overshadowed all the members including the original leader Ron Simmions. He would always get huge "Rocky Sucks" chants...that would later on his career shimmer over to "Rocky" chants. He had major battles with Ken Shamrock and Stone Cold Steve Austin over the Intercontinental Championship. Week after week..Rocky would become the most arrogrant superstar...and it would get significant. He would become simply The Rock. The arrogrance would only lead to making him a major over babyface. Second to Stone Cold or Third To The Undertaker.
The Cooperate Champion
Fresh away from The Nation...The Rock became a top babyface that went on for some months. His character was one of those who defintanly oozed what the Attitude product was about. He went in Survivor Series 98 as a face...and one of the favorites to win the WWE Title in a tournament. He may of walked in as one of the top faces...but then left that night as WWE's Top Heel. He joined forces with the most evil people in the bussiness at that time...The McMahons. He was then allied in yet another faction....The Cooperation...as the Cooperate Champ. Rock became the most arrogrant WWE Superstar on The Roster and cut some amazing promos..and was in a few awesome battles. Instanly the on that tops my mind is his battle with Mankind at Royal Rumble 1999. He also had a going back and fourth with newcomer and fella Cooperation member Big Show. And his back and fourth going with Stone Cold Steve Austin.
The arrogrant Hollywood Star
With the disaproval of movie making from the fans...The Rock went on to make movies and move away from pro wrestling. Even as a face...some crowds would boo him if they knew he was there for a short term deal. Well in 2003 The Rock returned for WrestleMania 19 as a heel. During that time he has cut some of the funniest promos...with the you all turned your backs on me type attitude. He wrestled Hogan at No Way Out and the Austin at WrestleMania...and then on to Goldberg at Backlash. He pretty much had a short run with this...and he obviously was so bad...that fans couldn't help still cheering him.

They were all pretty great, but I personally found Hollywood Rock absolute gold. He was hilarious, cutting some of my favorite promos, such as the one in Toronto which everybody talks about. Some absolutely classic lines, and this time period basically sums up everything that was great about heel Rock. It was the classic angle after returning from Hollywood that he would be an egotist who thought he was above wrestling and above the fans.
Mothercanukers!

Considering he was cheered as Hollywood Rock and cheered part of the time for Corporate Champion, I have to go with Nation Rock. He was actually treated as a heel.

I always take it to mean 'most entertaining' when somebody compares heels or heel runs. He got a lot of heat at certain times anyway.

Well yeah The Rock defintanly got the most in heel heat when he was in the Nation. Damn I remember during the Nation's music there would always be Rocky sucks chants. I have to go with The Cooperation Rock though. I used to love when he get real pissed off when the crowds would start to say his catch praises along with him. I remember when he used to brawl with those around the announcers table...he would get on the headset and drink water. LOL stuff like that was gold.

I watched Rock vs Trips ladder match from when Rock was in the Nation and he was getting cheers in that too.
I'll go with Hollywood Rock. Yes, he got the most heat. Watch his WM match with Austin, the crowd nearly boo him out the building, watch his promo in Toronto, when he tells them to not "sing along with him" he gets NUCLUER heat.
Plus he was da best then.
