Re: The WWE vs TNA Thread

Well as I said before, some people enjoy the sports entertainment aspect and are not willing to watch indys in place of mainstream wrestling, but they prefer the TNA product as it is less watered down than WWE and doesn't have some of the terrible aspects WWE has, such as all the worthless titles spread across multiple brands.

Not everybody likes wrestling just for the wrestling. I have watched ROH at times and I still check out random matches, but for me, it is more about storylines than anything else, and while ROH does have them (I'm not one of those people claiming that it is 100% wrestling) it is more a product marketed towards those who first and foremost, want wrestling. I enjoy sports entertainment which isn't aimed at 10 year olds.

Re: The WWE vs TNA Thread

2 Hours of TNA wrestling is better to watch than 5 hours of the WWE freakshow. TNA I would argue has actually declined in quality since they changed to a 2 hour show. I fail to see how people can accuse TNA talent of being inferior to WWE.

I am sorry but AJ Styels, Kurt Angle, Samoa Joe, Hernandez, Robert Roode, James Storm, Eric Young, Sonjay Dutt, Jay Lethal, Alex, Shelley, Chris Sabin are all higher quality entertainers and wrestlers than anybody in the WWE.

There are few good wrestlers left in WWE today and most of them are not even used for title matches. R-Truth, Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas are all better in the ring that the likes of Batista, Triple H, and Randy Orton yet it is the 6ft guys who weight 300ibs are getting all the title shots.

Its ridiculous.

Explain how Truth is better than Orton?

Because he does a few flips?

Truth is better than Orton in my opinion because he is quicker in the ring, more athletic, does more to make other wrestlers moves look good. Orton is stiff as a board in and out of the ring.

I have seen several good matches involving Truth but hardly any involving Orton

I might be the biggest critic of Randy Orton on this board, but even I can't wrap my head around the Truth being better than Orton. Killings hasn't produced anything near the quality of the the Orton/Cactus Jack Backlash match.

Re: The WWE vs TNA Thread

If the PG rating logo on the screen wasn't there when the WWE opens and continues their broadcast would you mind? Honestly, Looking at the product right now....If Chikara was on television, that'd draw higher ratings probably in their first few weeks alone than TNA could draw in 3 and a 1/2 plus years since being on Spike TV at this point. Lets just let it sink through that whatever Vince "The Rat" Russo and Dutch Mantle touch, turns to complete rubbish.

I hope that is a joke...

Re: The WWE vs TNA Thread

Meh WSX's first week drew near what TNA draws weekly, if I remember right.

Which is owned by the same company that owns SpikeTV, Viacom. I assume both channels are available to the same amount of people.
