TNA have some good things going on, but they have taken away some of the things that have worked for them. They have trouble following some stories. And they really dont know how to push the new stars like A.J. Styles and Samoa joe. They get like have pushes then they fade away.
TNA has to use all their strong points. And learn how to hype their T.V. show.
TNA has to make the show fun again. Not a joke, but make it entertaining. That will atract new fans. Not necesarily wrestling fans, but people who want to be entertain.
One of the reasons the WWE got big during the attitude era was because none wrestling fans started tuning in. Just cause of the stories and the high quality wrestling characters . Such as Austin, the Rock and Jericho.
The WWE will pick up things as soon as they feel threaten in some way. I pretty much see a future full of ego's in the WWE. This will eventually help TNA.
TNA in general is just so much less watered down than WWE, and for me that is its main appeal. It is aimed at adults not 10 year olds, it features blading, no silly banned moves or banned anything else. It is just a more mature product and more entertaining and unpredictable too. WWE is boring me to tears right now. I would rather watch TNA's hit and miss booking than WWE's stale conventional shit.

All the positives you mention are just the standard for a normal wrestling company. Look at almost any other company and they have what you just listed, it's the standard.
With so many alternatives out there, I honestly can't understand why anyone watches TNA anymore these days.

Because some people like some aspects of mainstream wrestling, and think 'sports entertainment' is an essential part of wrestling, while also wanting to see a product with ... actual wrestling. TNA is like WWE but far less watered down and actually aimed at over 12s, so I think it is obvious why it is the better option. Not everybody just wants pure wrestling. I like entertainment and I like over the top stuff.

I think both companies suck pretty bad right now and I don't feel the need to catch any shows produced by either of them. But if I had to watch one of them over the other it would be the E.
My biggest beef with TNA is the commentating, I can't sit through more than 2 minutes of Tenay and West without hating the show. They over commentate and over sell every little incident or altercation it just makes everything so incredibily lame, "OMGZ WATS GOINZ ONZ BAKST0GE WITH TEH MAFIAZ... THIS IS TERRIBLEZ SOMEBODEH STOP THIS OMGZ". Its all too tacky and only reaffirms the ''fakeness" in what im watching. But even with the terrible commentating aside there isn't anyone on their show I really look forward to seeing.. I still dont mind watching Angle wupp some ass every now and then but I don't care that I have no idea as to what he's been up to or what sort of storyline he's in when I do. The wrestling itself might still be a little better than the E's overall but that isn't all that hard to accomplish is it.
The WWE's biggest problems for me have been the same for a while now. The childishness in general, alot the talent and the booking are probbably biggest factors as to why their shows bore me. Unlike TNA however I do actually enjoy seeing a few guys when I get the chance, Morrison and Orton for example. On a mainstream level I don't expect to be seeing great matches very often so the wrestlers with good gimmicks and heaps of charisma are usually the guys on TV which I enjoy... those two entertain me in that way
At the end of the day though both companies fail. The only thing which makes me more of a WWE fan than a TNA fan is that there's a couple of guys I look for to watching on a WWE show whereas in TNA nobody excites me all that much.
Recently I have become even more in favor of TNA over WWE, although as Joel says, the most obvious observation is that both companies fucking suck. At least TNA contains some emotion and doesn't seem as watered down, ie blading allowed, big spots, no childishness. WWE just feels like a shell of a wrestling company at times, whereas at least TNA arn't afraid to make things dramatic and show genuine hatred between two guys, something which is almost never put across in WWE. Genesis was a good PPV despite some obviously terrible booking.

I am bringing this back because people are still talking about it in other threads. Obviously you can mention it briefly, but if a thread is looking like turning into a WWE vs TNA debate, try to bring it in here.
The main reasons I consider TNA to be better are the lack of PG Rating and the fact that there is only one brand and one World Title.
