Favorite Return?

Overtime, almost every wrestler either takes time off to either recuperate from an injury or to go to another company. However, most eventually returns. What has been some of your favorite returns?

Some of my recent ones:

The Rock's numerous returns (Whether one time appearances or full time) have always been entertaining and a breath of fresh air.

Chris Benoit's No Mercy '06 return was my favorite of 2006. With the way the PPV was going, it seemed obvious that Regal's mystery opponent would be Vito. To say I had low expectations for that match would be an understatement. However, hearing Benoit's music changed everything especially considering I've always loved Benoit and Regal's matches.

Yush, The Rock's return's were consistanlty great.

A few of my favs:

- Undertaker returning at Judgement Day 2000 during the Ironman match and laying out the ownage on all involved.

-Shawn Michaels's return at Summerslam 2002. Not just the incredible match, but the whole build up to it too was so well done.

-Kane returning and pwning the Un-Americans

-Edge's return to save Hogan~! during the Hogan/Jericho street fight from Smackdown in 2003. Back then Edge was cool.

-Matt Hardy's return and the awesomely awesome fued with Edge upon it.

And a few recent ones:

-Cena's return at the Rumble. Sure it's gay seeing him hog the spotlight, and yes I saw it coming but seriously, what an epic way to return.

-Kobashi's return at the end of last year. Returning from CANCER and putting on a MOTYC, what more could you possibly ask for?

Undertaker returning at Judgment Day. I was a mark then and UT had been my favorite and I had always been into motorcycles. Let's just say I marked extremely hard.

His return as the Deadman was a markout moment for me too. I know it wasn't an amazing match but from 2002-2004 I was waiting for a return as the deadman.

Matt Hardy's return attacking Edge was phenomenal.

John Cena's RR return

Ric Flair "returning" in 02 being partners with Vinnie Mac.

Shawn Michaels of course. It was amazing.

Christian's return to the WWE... oh wait it hasn't happened yet

This one isn't that well remembered, but Kane's return back in 2000 when he came out and owned the McMahon-Helmsley faction was great. I was a mark back then and I loved seeing him own every one of them with chokeslams.

Edge's return at Survivor Series last year was well done I felt. The whole angle of him disguised as the cameraman was a good way for him to get involved in the cell match and typical of something Edge would do.

Chris Jericho's return last year is so underrated. I personally felt it couldn't have been done any better. The whole passing of the torch thing was a good idea, and when Jericho laid the guy out and did his signature pose, I marked so hard even though I knew it was gonna be him anyway. He then goes on to cut a promo of epic proportions.

Kinda obvious, but Shawn Michaels return in 2002 was simply incredible.

John Cena's rumble return was great for shock value. I love how the crowd cheered then booed as soon as he got in the ring.

Does the return of Cactus Jack in 2000 count?

That would have been better if A) they hadn't spoiled it in the magazine beforehand, B) the fucking tron code shit didnt take so long and C) his promo didn't drag epicly.

A) Agreed

B) Disagreed. I liked it that way. Really built suspense.

C) Disagreed again.
