Ok basically what I am asking is...in your opinion...what do you feel is the best WCW main event? LOL I guess I can put it anymore straight forward then that.
My personal favortie was Goldberg vs Hogan on Nitro...at the Georgia Dome.
Now it was not a mat classic...but again it was a very memorable match. Hogan was probally the biggest heel in wrestling at the time and this young Goldberg comes up with this epic undefeated streak. The match felt like a WrestleMania enviroment (No dispresct to Starcadde). A Nitro in a huge Stadium...Hogan usually always won...and Goldberg was a champion already. At the time when I was young I really was for Goldberg but for some reason I thought he was going to lose...due to interference by the NWO. Anyways again looking back at the match itself...was kind of cartoonish. But the enviroment...the excitement of when I was a child brings that back to me everytime. FUCKING TREMENDOUS POP when Goldberg one. It was one of those times where I could not tell who really was going to win or lose. And that is when I love wrestling, when it unpredictable. It just had a WrestleMania atmosphere despite being a WCW show.
So I ask what do you consider the best WCW main event...or your favorite WCW main event

The match with two rings in a cage. I think its called "War Games" Anyhow fall brawl '96. I just liked the idea of the match concept and Sting pwning fake Sting and saying "Fuck You" to WCW was awesome. I enjoyed the commentary too! Surprising seeing as Dusty Rhodes was one of them.
It really should be Hogan versus Sting at Starrcade 97.
15 months of build up, Sting not talking, fans begging for it, mass media on it. Of course, that all ended with Bischoff, Sting, and Hogan forgetting about every variable I just mentioned. Very unfortunate.
WCW was around for 10 years, and really did not produce memorable main events. If I had to pick one, I would say Bash at the Beach 1996 when the Outsiders faced Sting, Luger, and Savage. Hogan turned, and formed the nWo.
