You call that exploding? Maybe compared to today's dead crowd pops, but that pop would of been an embarrassment in the Attitude Era. To this day, the Rock is the only one who gets anything close to an Attitude Era pop.

What's so loud about Summerslam? It was a average (Below average for what Austin used to get) pop.
I'll admit the Backlash is one of the biggest pops ever. However, since we're talking about recent returns, talking about an Attitude Era pop isn't too relevant now is it?
The No Way Out pop is good, but it's not even one of Austin's best.
Now obviously, we aren't the most unbias members to be debating this. On one hand, you believe Austin's coming out, stunning and beer party routine that happens every single time is beyond exciting. Meanwhile, I believe, The Rock's always fresh and new comedy humor along with his trademark lines blows away Austin's whoring out campaign.
Personally, when you get this kind of reaction (See below) just from a TAPED segment, that's kinda a big deal, especially compared to subpar pops that Austin has been getting for years.

Dude, no offense, but I'm calling total bullshit. Austins pop at Summerslam 07 was a lot longer and louder than The Rocks pop. Did the fans chant Rocks name? No they didn't. Did the entire arena completely erupt when they saw him? No, they didn't. When Austins music hit, the entire arena marked out. When he got into the ring, every single fan was on their feet with their middle fingers raised in the air. When Austin confronted MVP, the entire crowd was chanting "let's go Austin". Austins pop at ss was a lot louder and longer than The Rocks mini-return to RAW.
Seriously. The Rocks pop from his mini-return was highly overrated.

It's a lot better than watching The Rock repeat the same stupid shit over and over again. I love hearing the glass shatter, I love seeing Austin flip people off, I love seeing him stunt the shit out of people. Austin is awesome.

It's not a fact, its your opinion. And I stand by what I said, The Rocks loudest pops have never rivaled Austins loudest pops.
