And I would agree with that entirely. Hell, all of the Punk/Morrison ECW matches bar the last two were actively bad, botchy spotfests. Morrison is still young and can improve over time, so I won't rule him out yet, but right now he certainly isn't ready to be anywhere near main eventing. Punk, despite being underwhelming for most of his WWE career, atleast knows how to put together a match and atleast he has a nice experienced background to draw on.
My main gripe with Punk is strikes.... he's meant to be a faux martial arts kinda dude and his kicks are so tame. C'mon man, don't be afraid to stiff Hardy in the head a little.
I think that Punk's matches are going to be a lot more entertaning now that he's heel too. The heel work in the Night of Champions match was great. Just things like his facial expressions make you want the guy to get his ass handed to him, and obviously that's what being a heel is all about.
Morrison on the other hand has suffered from an ill-advised face turn, and he was nothing special as a heel.

Yeah, the best thing about Punk is that he knows how to work a character, so I expect his heel run to be good.
Morrison as a face is just bland.
The worst thing about Morrison as a face is that we've got no real reason to get behind him. He's a face, yes, but he doesn't have any character whatsoever, he's awful on the mic, and the only difference is that he's no longer a dick and he smiles all the time....oh and he sings Michael Jackson songs with Teddy Long.
Don't see what there is to like about him.

I was talking about from a character perspective, as in, why would you want to see this man succeed?
He just doesn't seem very likeable, partly because he fails to show any sort of emotion and put any real character across. As cheesy and cringeworthy as he is at times, at least John Cena seems like a likeable guy and you feel like you know him somewhat, not only due to mic skills but also his facial expressions, gestures etc. Morrison just has zero depth.

The whole guest host thing is starting to get stale. They need to either get better celebs, or better legends in order for it to start getting interesting. However, without a GM, Raw just seems so random but yet repetitve at the same time.
