I'd disagree with that, I thought it was very good though it didnt hold up so well on rewatch. I actually enjoyed last year's fourway more, but I'll be in the minority there.
I didn't even think the Cena/HBK match from this January was a good match let alone as good as Benoit/Austin. I imagine if Austin/Benoit had been on PPV and maybe not had the screwy finish it would have rivaled Rock/Austin.
That was an elimination match so its different. I still prefer the 07 match though. It was just so much fun imo.
I don't see what was great about Benoit/Austin really. Weird.
How was Cena/HBK this year not a good match? lol

Benoit vs Austin is easily the best SD match of all time. The only other match that comes close is Benoit and Angle vs Edge and Mysterio 2/3 Falls from 2002.

Benoit and Austin in 2001 were world class brawlers, and 2001 may have been both mens's prime. Them, in a 20 minute match, in front of Benoit's home crowd who were red hot with Austin taking the fall to Jericho and Benoit a week earlier making Benoit a believable winner... throw in an epic injury angle to add just another huge layer to it? Man, that match is fucking great imo.
As for this year's Cena/HBK... eh, it was ok. Cena's selling was really good but I didn't think it was particularly good otherwise. What I said about it about it elsehwere:
