Considering Dyno gets talked up as being "one of the best ever", I would say he is overated in the context that he certainly wasn't. I would consider a great handful of wrestlers to be better than him. I would say someone like Austin Aries is probably a better wrestler than Dyno was, and I think Aries has a habit of going through the motions at times.
The series with Tiger Mask varies from great to mediocre, and as for how influential it was I'm sure there were guys in Mexico doing the exact thing just without no selling piledrivers on the floor. I would also say the British Bulldogs are overated in the context of people calling them one of the best tag teams ever. They were very good, but again there were a lot better. When it comes to being the best British wrestler ever I would rank Saint and Robinson above him too, and maybe even Finlay too, I dunno.
Basically, he was a very good wrestler, but he had a LOT of flaws like shitty selling and too many flashy moves.
Benoit was infinetly better in every way.

As a "best ever" argument, I would agree with you. As something like one of the better cruiserweights, and the argument for it would b easier.
Savage vs Flair may be the most overated Wrestlemania main event ever.
Really? I would of thought it'd be something you'd dig. It's been awhile since I've seen it, but I'd say it's easily in the top 3 for the first 10 Mania World Title matches.
Extremely basic match that could have easily taken place as the Raw main event with any other two wrestlers. I literally can not think of one moment from the match outside of *maybe* Flair's blade job that made it memorable or exciting in any way. Thought it was really standard worked match and quite dull, and the over-booking really did little for me. I've definately seen worse Wrestlemania main events but the fact people talk that up as one of the best Wrestlemania matches and MOTYC is kinda baffling to me. Thought Hart/Piper from the same show was way better and even then I'd be stretched to call that an outstanding match. First 10 Wrestlemanias? Sure, I guess, but compared to the ones this decade it doesn't hold up well at all.... in my unpopular opinion.

Wow. Even when I first saw it as a young kid, I thought it was fantastic. As far as WWE matches go, off of the top of my head, I can only think of the Royal Rumble, Piper vs Hart and Hart vs Bulldog that can be considered MOTYC's. Idk, I'd like to watch it again before I comment more.
Yeah, kind of struck me as the sort of match that gets love because of the people involved more than anything. Thought Savage was totally generic as a face and could have been replaced by any number of main eventers. Outside the blade job Flair did the exact same thing I've seen him do in a hundred or so other big matches, probably less so. Hardly any great heel work (unless you count Perfect's interference) or technical wrestling.
As for it being a MOTYC.... 1992 was a pretty awful year for the WWF/E, but I'd take most current TV main events these days over that match if I'm being honest, it really did nothing for me.
