If you add the buyrate for the 2008 Rumble and the least-bought WWE show in the last decade, that would top TNA's total PPV buys for the last two years. It's difficult to express how small a pimple TNA is on the proverbial butt of WWE.
All you really need to do is look at the December to Dismember buyrate and compare it to the TNA ones. The ECW show was felt to be such a failure that they changed ECW drastically before the night even ended. TNA hasn't even come close to that good of a rating.

I heard they had one high show when Sting first debuted.

Kim vs Kong - No DQ match. Pretty sad how they managed to get this fued so right and yet can't do anything with the divisions people actually care about. Match was just a hate-filled buffet of violence with a really strong big vs small story
Angle vs Styles - Their first match, from BFG. It was good up until they went into super-overkill-finisher-moves-no-sell-ing.
Joe vs Angle - Well, the last five minutes are so, after they got all of the boring wannabe shoot style stuff out of the way and started wrestling the way they are good at.
The World X-Cup scramble - Super-fun sprint with *shock* some story to it. The Shelley/Yoshino stuff at the end was goooood.
