Every wrestler in the wrestling business has job to some other wrestler, but just some are consider jobbers for the streak or numerous defeats they have had. Some wrestler like many may know have started in the wrestling business as jobbers.Doesn't have to be necesary from the company they are with, but where they started out first.
Jobbers are especially used to make other wrestlers look good.To help built there opponents momentum without affecting other top wrestlers momentum & storylines.
Today jobbers are usually use against bigger, stronger opponents. So they can be pick around & toss around at will.
Jobbers are also used alot to built up rookies.
Many jobbers go unrecognized, but some of the best get more recognition cause of the number of times they are used. That means they have done a well job.(l.o.l)
They're many jobbers that have gain recognition just because of their ability to take a good beating. Some just out of sympathy. Some of the most noticeable are:
Justin Credible formerly known as Aldo Montoya & before that P.J Walker.
The Brooklyn Brawler-being from New York gave him lots of notoriety.
Barry Horowitz-always patting or slapping himself on the back. Was one of his trade marks.
Jim Powers-Probally one of the most unlikely jobbers cause of his great physique, look, and strength.
Duane Gill-as many may know Gilberg. One of the biggest toss around wrestlers in the history professional wrestling.Untill he started saying who's "next" (L.O.L)
that took him to the W.W.F/E Light Heavy Weight Championship.
Probally the most popular jobbers ever were the Hardy Boyz,(Hardy Brothers).Rob Van Dam made quick work of Jeff Hardy in R.V.D. 1st WWF/E Match.
One big jobber now is Stevie Richards
There also was the J.O.B. squad-Bob Holly,Blue minie,2 Cold Scorpio,(Flash Funk).Al Snow & Gilberg.Plus other's you may or not know.Mike Sharpe,Bastion Booger,Phil Apollo,Reno Riggins,Rich Myers. And in W.C.W. there was The Roadblock.Big huge dude.So big & heavy that Lex Luger had to apply the Torture Rack for a 3rd time after previously failing the 1st two times, but the 3rd time was the charm.
Will you be willing to job for a chance at the big time?Remember many havn't done as well as the Hardy Boys have.
