This is all-time...

1. Sean Waltman- I get a lot of stick for it but I am an X-Pac mark. I just always enjoyed his matches and thought the rebellious underdog gimmick was a great one. He was part of two of the greatest stables ever in nWo and DX. Plus he’s won quite a lot of gold. And he has his own type of heat lol. Hardly anyone else can say that.

2. Raven- He had the best gimmick of all-time in my opinion. It was so original, deep and you wanted to know more about his character. He was a decent wrestler too. His role in ECW and WCW was great but the WWF really missed the boat with him. He could have been a huge star for them, it’s a mighty shame.

3. Shawn Michaels- Extremely charismatic and a man who has had so many brilliant matches over the years. He set the bar incredibly high in the Hell in a Cell and Ladder matches and was part of one of the most popular stables ever in Degeneration X. His comeback was inspirational and he has awesome ring attire too. The greatest all-round performer in wrestling history in my opinion.

4. Ric Flair- Naitch was the best heel back in the day, his wresting was superb and no one drew heat like him. His feuds and matches with Ricky Steamboat and Sting are top quality stuff. Ric Flair was one of the most popular wrestlers ever, the fans popped for him every time. Leader of the first proper stable in the Four Horsemen and he has spent decades entertaining us. Flair’s also realised when its right to help the younger generation has helped build up many guys over the years. The best wrestler ever but not quite my favourite.

5. The Rock- He is the wrestler that has made me laugh the most out of any. He is just so funny on the mic. No one cuts interviews better than The Rock and he’s pretty good in the ring too. He is just so fun to watch and has been part of some awesome angles; I especially enjoyed the team with Mick Foley. I want him to return so bad.

6. Chris Jericho- A brilliant wrestler, very crisp, his matches always flow well. Jericho has tons of charisma and was hilarious on the mic. Another guy who I think could have achieved more than he did. He was held back and still is to this day, he is so above the IC title.

7. Scott Hall- Major part of the nWo which revolutionized wrestling. Very cool gimmick with Razor Ramon and funny on the mic. A really good wrestler too, had some amazing matches against HBK over the IC Title. Can’t believe he never held a World Title...

8. Ultimo Dragon- Ultimo was a pioneer in the wrestling business and he’s always been very fun to watch. He’s wrestled in many promotions across the globe, achieving success in all and had numerous top matches. The Asai DDT is awesome and I love his attire. I’ve always been a big fan.

9. Christian Cage- So charismatic and one of the main reasons I watch TNA. He’s just so good on the stick and he’s a fine wrestler too. I’m really glad he plays a big role in TNA because he really deserves it. A very talented guy.

10. Kurt Angle- He won a gold medal with a broken freakin' neck. A very funny performer and one of the best wrestlers in the world, even today. Kurt's accessention to the top was so quick, he got over so easily. Kurt is the total wrestler really, he has every skill needed.<!-- google_ad_section_end --><!-- / message --><!-- sig -->

lmao @ X-Pac and Cage in this list. They aren't even the best of the last five years ket alone the best ever.

EDIT - I thought it said "Greatest" instead of "Favourite"...carry on.

In no particular order:

1) Kenta Kobashi - Basically just a phenominal wrestler. Broken down these days but in his prime was one of the best mat technicians ever. Hugely charismatic and over, had the crowd in the palm of his hand every match. Countless five star matches under his belt, just really an amazing athlete.

2) Mitsuharu Misawa - One of the most influential wrestlers ever, countless great matches throughout the year and really just amazing to watch. Like Koashi he is broken down so bad these days but in his prime he was amazingly quick and agile. If you doubt his greatness just look at the WO's five star match list to get an insight into his career.

3) Jumbo Tsuruta - Again, one of the most influential wrestlers ever who pretty much laid the way for so many wrestler. Again, hugely charismatic, just generally a master of his craft.

4) Ric Flair - Hands down the most influential US star ever, in his prime he put out great match after great match. Insanely charismatic and one of the best crowd workers ever.

5) Mil Mascaras - Without him, there would be no Tiger Mask, no Jushin Liger, no Great Sasuke, etc. As influential as Flair and a phenominal ring technician.

6) Chris Benoit - The most intense wrestler ever. What he may have lacked in charisma he more than made up for in shear ability and intensity. Arguably the greatest technical wrestler ever.

7) Steve Austin - A good contender for the best brawler ever. A man who could carry the crowd in the palm of his hand and bring a level of emotion to a match like almost no one else.

8) The Great Sasuke - Just an amazing wrestler to watch. Great mat wrestler, whose selling was flawless and one of, if not the best highflyer ever. Great at brawling too and was able to strike a balance between being both charismatic and intense.

9) Mick Foley - Not a good tecnical wrestler but an amzing brawler who brought an unparelleled level of emotion to his matches. As far as emotion, psycology and getting the crowd into his matches, Foley is as good as you can get.

10) Bret Hart - Similar to Benoit, a good contender for the best technical wrestler ever. Hugely charismatic and could get a great match out of pretty much anyone. Great match after great match throughout his career, he produced some of the best matches US wrestling has ever seen.

The Kid

Well KillSteve, this thread is all about opinion and to me, I enjoy X-Pac and Christian Cage a hell of a lot. I consider them as two of the most entertaining wrestlers of all-time.

The Instant Classic

Here is my list:


1. Trish Stratus

Wheather it is in the ring or on the mic she is amazing for a female athelete. She got female wrestling on a stable ground after females like the kat and terri destroyed it with the pathetic fueds over the WWF womens champions championship. Trish could also do some whch many wrestlers cannot and that is play a face as well as they play a heel. Her stint in 2004/05 as a heel was fantastic and she drew so much heat for a female.

2. AJ Styles

He is in my opinion the most innovative wrestler of all time. people say the most innovative are dynamite kid and tiger mask but i dont think they are as inovative as AJ. When you put AJ in a match its already destined for greatness wheather its against Low KI or even Scott hall. He also is great on the mic. He is funny and really entertaining. he is one guy i could watch in the ring all day without getting bored.

3. The rock

I have always been a huge mark for the rock. Wheather its his great in ring ability or his amazing mic skills he never fails to impress. The fans have always loved him and it would be great if he could come back just once to headline wrestlemania one more time.

4. Christian Cage

Cage has always been a favourite of mine. But i became a huge fan when he transformed into captain charisma and ever since then he has been awesome. He can make a match awesome (For example his match against Kaz at Genesis 2007, It looked OK but Christian just made the match brilliant) and his mic ability is by far the best in TNA. His promos can get so intense he reminds me of macho man sometimes.

5. CM Punk

At such a young age he has proven he knows the buissness as well as anyone. He stuck with a gimmick his whole carrer and it has worked and now look at him. I must admit i preferred his Work in FWA and ROH when he was the bad ass heel and he wanted all beer drinkers to die lol but he is also a great face. His fueds with raven were amazing and he still has so far to go in his carrer.

6. Macho Man randy savage

Wheather it was WWF or WCW he was always great. His promos built his character extrmely well and his Unique moveset for his size was great. His fueds with Hogan and DDp always stuck out to me as phenominal and when you look at it i think he made them phenominal.

7. D.D.P

You love me..... You Hate me........ You'll never forget me...... Get ready to feel the *BANG*. he was always a favourite of mine and when he finally won the WCW championship i marked out bigtime. DDp was always a great character that was a big name for his size and he was a great asset to the WCW roster. Too bad he wasnt used properly in TNA or WWE.

8. Stone Cold

Probably the greatest brawler of all time. He has great ability to get the crowd pumped and made the attitude era what it is today along with DX and the rock. When he wanted to be funny he would be funny, when he wanted to draw heat he could draw heat and this made him so popular and entertaining.

9. Tyler Black

Ive recently been watching this guy and i swear to god he is the next CM Punk. When he enters the ring he is a man possessed lol but when he is in the match it gets worse. His finisher is sickening (Cradle landing DDT) and he can kick some arse. Plus he is probably one of the best indy flyers around today.

10. Edge

To be honest i have not liked him at all this year, i cannot stand his stint with Vickie and it makes me sick to the stomach but when he was doing lita back in 06 thats when he was great. He was the most hated guy on RAW! and held the title extrmely well. Hopefully he returns to that style and he will be higher in the list
