I would agree with that, to a point, but argue that he did all of them better than the original, so I'll forgive it.

Arn was a terrific all round talent, very under rated with his promo work.

I think he also gave me one of my greatest ever true "mark out" moments at Wrestlemania when he ran in and spinebustered Undertaker in the Flair match.

Re: Stone Cold Arn Anderson?

Yes, that was a great moment. I was always an Arn Anderson fan dating back to when I started watching NWA/WCW back in like 1990 as a small boy..

Re: Stone Cold Arn Anderson?

I remember around that time, maybe 91/92 was when I watched a match between Anderson and Steamboat. It was a WCW main event match on free tv over here, and Arn (I think) was a member of the Dangerous Alliance at that time (what a great stable that was).

I think that was the 1st time that I ever watched a match and truly "got" at last what great story telling could do. The build throughout it was great and they just sucked the crowd in totally over 20 minutes.

Re: Stone Cold Arn Anderson?

The first match I remember watching of Arn was him and The Great Muta on free tv. Excellent match. I went back and bought a few older VHS tapes to appreciate him and the Horsemen. Ole was a great talker as well.
