Technical Ability as in being able to counter your opponent without nearly killing him while at the same time making your own offecne look good while doing the least amount of damage. See Kurt Angle as an example.
Charisma as in being able to keep the crowd intrested in you over a long period of time. See Shawn Michaels for example.
Mic work as in being entertaining & non repative. Sounding confidant unless the situation calls for otherwise. See Ric Flair as an example.
The more of the above a wrestler has, the better they are & the better i'd rate them.

Wrestling ability to me is only technical ability. Being a great wrestler doesn't make someone a star either...

wrestling ability in todays wrestling world i think is a mixture of things, hes tech ability aswell as hes ability to get over which in my opinion is more important this days expecially in the dub.
