It was terrible timing with the terrorist angle with the Taker was aired on the same day as the 7/7 bombings in London, the WWE could have not aired the angle but they choose to and the backlash began and they had no choice but to drop the character

I meant this topic for gimmicks that were unsuccessful or didn't last long, so I really don't think Chris belongs on this list. Sure he's been misused at times, but the man has also been WWE champ before and main evented WrestleMania.

O Haire Most def could have been a great heel.(i think hes doing mma right now)
Mordecai was a good character presented by a bad wrestler.(and now hes a gangrel rip off)
Hassan was prolly the most rememberable guy you love to hate.(and i hated him)
And i like the fact that all of Conways matches in his entrance video are from heat (he was so held back.)
