I Don't Think I Could've Been A Wrestling Fan in the Early 90's
Ok, i just watched the 1992 Royal Rumble for the first time ever. My brother just picked up the Rumble Anthology Set so i stole it immediately.

Now here's what i don't get or would've been up in arms about. Sid Justice is a good guy, as is Hogan. Now Sid eliminates Hogan at the end as it is everyman for themselves. So Hogan the sore loser, holds onto Sid's arms and allows the bad guy Flair to eliminated Sid and win the Rumble. Hogan demonstrates classic bad guy mentality and yet the fans are forefed to cheer the Hulkster.

How does that make sense...it's craziness

I know, that's why i say i don't think i could've been a fan. I mean, i love heels. But even what the Hulk did there was just like the actions of a whiny little brother who lost and can't handle it. Nobody should cheer that

I felt the same when SCSA used about six chair shots to put Kane over the top rope at the Rumble. Just too much of a deviation for even a tweener.
