ECW Roster

Sandman- Never has been known for his talent as a wrestler.. Which in turn then affects his ability to get over with the crowd. Seeing him do the same thing over and over again is simply over kill for 9 years… Sandman should now be the guy to get younger guys over… I’d think he would be fired by years end.

Tommy Dreamer- there is something about Dreamer that makes me think that he could have a true run with this “ECW� title… But since he is in his 40’s.. and you have guys in their 20’s, along with Vince being controlling all of what happens. Dreamer will end up like Sandman.. But not fired..

Sabu- How his Sabu not in the mix for a Title match against Lashley? If WWE were smart.. Lashley Vs RVD Vs Punk Vs Sabu.. But god forbid if ECW were to outshine WWE at Wrestle Mania… Sabu should be considered a main event guy for WWE.. But since his drug arrest.. He’ll be jobbing and I think that is truly a shame.. Sabu should have never left TNA..

CM Punk- The top baby face for the company.. But his “attitude� is terrible backstage… For some reason I see this as just a bull way to hold Punk down. People who don’t originally come through the WWE system… they are held down… Punk was well known before his debut… and WWE dropped the ball with Punk on many levels.. Punk should have started as a heel… Saying that he doesn’t need the fans cheers.. He can do this on his own… but no…He is the baby face that does not wrong… If Punk were to use his drug free lifestyle AFTER the drug arrest to the champion RVD… the possible feud that could have produced? Sure his reign may have been too soon, but they would have had an storyline for him….

Rob Van Dam- Since he isn’t going to be renewing his contract with WWE, he has been officially subjected to jobbing to less talented 20 year old wrestlers so that the 20 year olds can get over. However, RVD continues to get over, just because he is R-V-D, and for the fact that mostly everyone is a smart mark, so that know what is going on. I hope that RVD goes to TNA this coming up summer, and he should thrive their and compete like he did in the REAL ECW

Balls Mahoney- I’m not really sure what he has done in ECW, but I’d figure he will be gone soon enough. His style is nothing like WWE style. Mahoney is better in a hardcore in dependent federation, like IWA-MS…

Bobby Lashley- He is still too green, not a great talker by any means. Don’t you need a champion to be able to talk on the microphone, like Rock was. He is not a dominant force. WWE killed Lashley credit back when he was on Smack Down, continually looking to Booker T. Hell, who is real strong competition to Lashley on “ECW�? Majority of that competition (RVD-Sabu) will be gone by years end… Lashley, will always be nothing but a 3rd brand champ. Or if you go by WWE title, A European Champion, he doesn’t have the “it� factor… He has the looks and size, just not that it factor..

Test- Didn’t past the Test, meaning a DRUG TEST, will this kill what ever push he had? I doubt it, maybe for a month he’ll comeback and continue to job to Lashley, but I believe eventually he will win the ECW Title, considering at this rate, he is “ECW� top heel. Fairly decent on the microphone also, just that damn drug test.

Hardcore Holly- If he were to ever stay healthy, he could be a pretty good champion in ECW, a great heel, and when he is on his best, a great wrestler and performer. He just can not stay healthy, and I think WWE has lost any trust in giving him a major role on ECW, I know I have.

Gene Snisky- He isn’t a Monster. Losing to Murdoch on a weekly basis on Heat Webcast (yes, I watch it) and he is suppose to come in and be a real threat to Lashley? I don’t like Snisky, and I never will, If WWE were to do cuts again this year, and Snistky fails on many levels on ECW, he’d be gone in a heart beat.

Monty Brown- I refuse to call him by his new name in ECW, because that is a joke. Brown has the charisma to be a star on ECW brand, which isn’t really saying anything special. I’d replace Snisky with Brown in the feud with Lashley, as I believe they could have a decent contest. Brown should be getting matches over 2 minutes long, and eventually, hopefully, World Champion.

Matt Striker- He is a great heel, and now with Test gone for a month, Striker can be the #1 heel for the brand. I don’t see Striker winning the World Title, but it would be a great surprise to see it happen. He is a great talker and great performer/wrestler. Just his behavior backstage may be holding him back… Just like CM Punk

Kevin Thorne- Not impressed at all, mediocre wrestler, with a mediocre looking valet. Their really isn’t anything they would do with Thorne, unless they get a new group, like a Brood type group, and have him be the leader, but I don’t see that happening. Thorne will be just another mid-carder.

Elijah Burke- Is he really getting a push?? I saw his segment with Vince a couple of weeks ago, and boy, Burke can not talk at all. The crowd doesn’t know who he is, and now he is suppose to go over on the ECW veterans. I see this failing on many levels…


That’s it for the ECW brand, coming up next is the TNA brand, which will take longer, since a bigger roster..
