Women Wrestlers for your promotion: Hot or talented?
Lets just say your starting your own major wrestling promotion. You have to choose really hot chicks for your diva devision, who cant wrestle well, or not good looking chicks at all, who can wrestle awesomely.
Now they have to be used, and you cant have any mix.
This question is more about whats important to you, but a step furthur, what would you do?

Technically, you only said you had to use them, but you didn't say as wrestlers. I would use them as my valets and once in a while throw them in for a mixed tag against another wrestler with their valet. Having the hot chicks (Using them in any way) will attract more guys than seeing a wrestling clinic with two "Ugly" girls. Considering the fact that like all business, I would want to make money, I would go with what makes money.

For me it depends on the size of the promotion. If it is a small promotion without a TV deal, then I would go with the actual wrestlers. But if it were a big promotion, like TNA or the E, then the eye candy

If we're talking about stuff on par with the top male independent wrestlers I'd take the ugly ones that could wrestle. Innovate and make a female promotion based on solid entertainment based storylines backed up with three or four primary wrestling types/divisions. One with extremely gruesome Hardcore/Borderline garbage wrestling. One with High Flying stuff. One with more story telling driven matches. Also a Tag Team Division.
At the very least, I could market the woman hitting each other with light tubes as female empowerment to feminists, market the high flying stuff to lesbians with bad hair cuts, and the story driven possibly technical matches to snow flake obsessed marks.
And TNA made you a lier seeing as how their Knockouts rank rather high in segments. If it was me though...wrestling over looks for me.
That's a poor example. WWE's woman's segments don't rank or draw higher than male segments.
Ratings for the Knockouts are irrelevant. Scoring an extra .1 or .2 in the ratings doesn't constitute drawing if nobody is going to buy a PPV based on
their match.

Talented women all the way. You can't compete with "eye candy" that males can find on the Internet. But a good female wrestler is a bit harder to find. Wrestling fans appreciate wrestling above all else.

Re: Women Wrestlers for your promotion: Hot or talented?
I'd rather have hot women. The best WWE diva moments have involved Torrie, Trish, Sable, Stacey etc. Most people won't complain watching them no matter how they fight
Then again its not so much about looks or wrestling ability but moreso about character. If the woman have entertaining characters that alone will get people into the matches.
What is good wrestling ability without character/a hot woman without personality?
