Thoughts on Mick Foley?

While I think that Foley doing certain things defeats the point of wrestling and shows how limited he could be, if he was just a glorified stunt man then WWE wouldn't have used him to solidify Steve Austin & Triple H as legit main event players.

Foley was used in Austin's first WWE Championship feud and people started to take Triple H seriously once Foley made him look like a star.

Great talker, plenty of classic matches, consistent performer, great gimmicks (all of them), he's probably underrated.

Don't forget the Rock too.

Foley's feud with The Rock from late 1998-early 1999 helped to solidify The Rock as the WWF Champion. Additionally the sympathetic Mankind was able to make the charismatic Rock taken seriously as a fierce heel despite his surge in popularity around the fall of 1998.

Mic Foley was a true wrestling god! He's in TNA now though. He's not much to me anymore.
