After Desmond Wolfe's recent debut in TNA, going straight after the top guy in Kurt Angle, lets discuss some of the other memorable debuts in a company that have happened over the years.
Secondly, what do you think makes a good/memorable debut? Do you think that nowadays, most debuts arn't big enough?
The one that springs to mind instantly is Chris Jericho's WWF debut when he interrupted the Rock. I think that will be one that most people think of when they read this.

That was pretty great, and look what he went on to achieve. I'd love to see them do something similar nowadays. Triple H would be perfect to call someone out.
MEMORABLE.

Ziggler's debut was kinda close to Cena's in that he went straight against a top stars and got plenty of offence in and looked good.
Yeah you mean the match against Batista? That was a good in ring debut for sure, but it wasn't the same as the others here because he'd been in backstage segments before it. Still though, that was a much better way to bring someone in than have them squash no name jobbers for weeks.

That's something I'll always remember... it was awesome!
And, I know this probably wasn't very memorable, but when I read this thread, the first thing that came to mind was Booker T's debut in WWF... trust me, I don't know why it came to mind lol

Take everything after the = in the youtube address and put it in this:

Remove the Astrix and presto, it'll show up. The only times it wont show up is if the uploader disabled embedding.

The first one that popped into my mind was The Undertaker at Survivor Series. He had a unique look and gimmick, no sold damn near everything that he was hit with and dominant everyone who was in the ring with him.

How about Kurt Angle to TNA? Not a lot of people expected him to debut for a rival company after losing his love for pro wrestling and leaving the WWE, then bam! Signs with TNA after people thought Goldberg signed.
