As I can't see the videos here at work, I'm not sure if he's been mentioned, but another pretty cool debut was Tazz in the WWE.
If you remember, Kurt Angle issued an open challenge at the 2000 Royal Rumble, which Tazz answered. When the black and orange lights went on, with his theme music, I popped pretty hard. Also, his first match ended with the first loss of Kurt Angle in the WWE. Yes, it was controversial because Angle never technically submitted, but it made the debut of Tazz even more memorable.
More than anything, I'd say the addition of Paul Heyman helped Brock. Anyone could run out and attack wrestlers, but having Heyman endorse him really put the spotlight on him fast.
Paul did help brock....but to say that anyone can run out and attack wrestlers is true....but not everybody has the size intensity and skills that brock had, he made u believe that he would destroy people not just any wrestler can do that.
One example of an attack debut that flopped (for a few off screen reasons) was that of Krissy Vaine
I believe she was on TV only once after that and don't know if she ever recieved a name
Giant Gonzalez had a huge debut. Comes out to the ring, beats the piss out of the Taker and eliminates him from the Royal Rumble despite not being entered. He also is the only member of the Taker's streak that taker did not beat by pin or submission
While it wasn't as much of a debut as it was a relaunching, Big Daddy V made quite the impression by destroying Boogeyman

Wow, how are you the first one to mention Show's debut? That was one of the most shocking debuts. I've never been too big of a fan of the Big Show, but that was excellently booked.

I remember this as being one of the loudest pops of any debut I'd ever seen. I also remember thinking wow this "Invasion" storyline is gonna be the best the WWF ever produced.
Of course I was wrong, but still, this tops as my favorite wwf debut.

Was that really a moment gone wrong, like the video says? I always thought that was such a clever way to end the match.
As for Taz's debut, I liked the way they teased it, with his FTW logo popping up as other people made their entrance. I remember it happening to either Jackie or Jazz.
I like it when random things like that happen, teasing the arrival of someone. It just makes their appearance seem more important.
