Doh The Biggest Fail

Whats a match you remember that was booked and looked to be good but ending up failing? Not just falling flat, or below expectations, but just flat on its ass sucking hard.

To get the ball rolling Ill say Lethal Lock Down match 2009 and Sting VS Mick Foley Six Sides of Steel.

Re: The Biggest Fail

I don't know how good it would've been but I was looking forward to Abyss/Foley and it was fucking awful.

I guess Brock/Goldberg would be an obvious one too.

Re: The Biggest Fail

Because Brock was awesome and I wasn't super smart to realize how bad Goldberg was.

The match was hyped up to be one of the best of the year, Stone Cold was in it, It was on the biggest stage of all, Brock had a shit load of talent to make that match worthwhile there was so many reasons as to why that match could of been good or at least worthwhile. Not the pile of shit it turned out to be.

To this day, I will always blame the fans for making it memorable, but also bad. From the reactions they were giving, you could just tell by the faces of Brock and Goldberg that they had no idea what to do. They were taken off of their game. Despite being very talented, Brock was still young and green. For Goldberg, even though he had been wrestling for several years, he was hardly the most experienced in knowing what to do in such circumstances. The same thing happened to Batista when he faced The Big Show on ECW. He just had zero clue what to do.

Had it happened to a pair of more experienced workers, I doubt they would have let it affect their match. Goldberg and Brock were not that kind of worker. The fans ruined the match, yet they still complain about something they made bad.
