I pick Austin/Bret overall, with Hell in a Cell a close second followed by Halloween Havoc
All three are great but I think the HIAC is also overated and was poorly booked and the Eddie/Rey match is also excellent but gets overated in some circles because it was the last epic WCW match (wasn't the best match they had together imo). Meanwhile I think the Submission match may be my favourite WWE match ever.

I thought the Hell in a Cell started of really slow and Michaels over-selling was a bit annoying, but I can definately see the criticisms of it but overall loved it. I agree with Austin/Bret, its flawless in my opinion, both nailed everything at a superior workrate to the Hell in a Cell
I remember being underwhelmed by the Eddie/Rey match. The submission match is possibly the best of the 3 but I loved the HIAC too. Close call between those two.

Maybe so but it would have been smarter to hold off on people getting out the Cell until a later iteration.
Agreed. It was still a great match though. The fact that they left the cell may not have been the best idea, but it certainly made the match extremely entertaining.
I think the Submission match is the best of the three though, which is funny considering my post yesterday.

As cool as Michaels/Taker HIAC was, he is right. The point of the cell was to keep the hell in the cell, not around, outside and on top. Lesnar/Taker was pretty brutal and they stayed inside.
