A rather strange question this, but if somebody you know who doesn't like wrestling asked you to show them 5 matches to sum up why you enjoy it, which ones would you choose? You can show them an extended video package of the feud which led to the match if necessary, so don't worry about them not "getting it" from the match alone.
This person has obviously heard of Hogan, Rock, Austin and all the other wrestlers who are famous outside of the wrestling world, but they've never watched a show or a match and basically don't understand the appeal.
Thought this was a good topic that could garner some genuine discussion, thoughts?

Right off the bat, I'd pick Undertaker/Mankind HiaC. I know it's not a 5 star match by any means, but having had this discussion before, the first job you'd have is convincing them wrestling isn't "fake", and this is the perfect match to do so. Plus, you've got two relatively well known names in the match, so that helps.
Next, some actual wrestling. For this, I'd use Rock/Austin from WM17. Great match, plus again, two guys people would have heard of.
Samoa Joe/Ebetaroh/Jack Evans/Delirious from ROH (god knows what show...). Now this seems like an odd pick, but I have good reasoning behind it.
1. It shows there is wrestling outside of the big promotions.
2. Being a comedy match, it shows a fun side to wrestling.
There are probably better comedy matches out there (CHIKARA, PWG) but I probably haven't seen them.
4th choice would have to be something recent, since trying to convince them with stuff 5/10 years old could give them a wrong idea of what the current scene is like. So with that in mind, I'd go HBK/Taker from WM25.
Final match I'd choose be something like the Terrordome match from the last TNA PPV. just to show them a completely different style of wrestling, from the gimmick, to the competitors involved.

1. Shawn Michaels vs. Kurt Angle @ WrestleMania 21 - I would show them this match because it was all about who is the better wrestler. It's one of my favorite matches of all time.
2. Stone Cold vs. The Rock @ WrestleMania 19 - I think one match should be with a least some people they're familiar with. Great match that had two great individual performances. And more meaning as it was Austin's last.
3. Ric Flair vs. Ricky Steamboat @ Chi-Town Rumble - I would show this one so that they can see two artists on the canvas. Great wrestling in this match that was for the World title.
4. Undertaker vs. Mankind in Hell in a Cell @ King of the Ring 1998 - They should see how extreme these guys can get; how much they'll put their bodies through for the crowd to get their money's worth.
5. Shawn Michaels vs. Ric Flair @ WrestleMania 24 - This match shows how much we respect the ones that paved the way for the younger generation. And it was such a great moment to see Ric Flair have one more night in the spotlight with another one of the greats.

As great as this match is, I think it'd be too difficult for new fans to truely appreciate.
Like the rest of the list though.

1) Mitsuharu Misawa vs. Jumbo Tsuruta - June 8th 1990
2) Mitsuharu Misawa vs. Toshiaki Kawada - June 3rd 1994
3) Toshiaki Kawada & Akira Taue vs. Mitsuharu Misawa & Kenta Kobashi - June 9th 1995
4) Bryan Danielson vs. Nigel McGuinness - Unified 2006
5) Ric Flair vs. Ricky Steamboat - WrestleWar 1989
These five matches are some of my all time favorite matches and really solidify my love for professional wrestling. There's plenty of other great matches I could easily choose to put on this list of five but these five stand out the farthest to me. I'd show these five because, well, it's pretty self-explanatory actually. I mean, just look at the matches and look at the general consensus ratings for each.
